Expression • Embodiment • Zen Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy ~ A holistic and psychotherapeutic approach to therapy utilising creative expression and somatic embodiment practices to feel, understand, process and release emotions in order to reach a state of zen within the mind, body and soul 🍂 by @zen.zo____
It’s been a year since the surgery confirming the cancer had grown, a waiting game like no other.. A year of floating in such an uncomfortable unknowing. Yet in the debilitating knowing of how powerful the mind body connection is, trying to hide the consuming fear and uncertainty from my own mind in case it manifests. Trying hard to just trust my intuition, and my body. An intuition and body that just kept letting me down. Preaching embodiment when I was actively disconnecting from my own. Why would I want to connect to a body that gives me this pain?? A journey that has not yet finished, a soul that feels so exhausted. A restricted diet, and a bank account that has emptied on every little herb and holistic practitioner under the sun, wanting everyone’s advice on my body, but my own. But today I celebrate my bodies incredible capacity to heal, and it’s ability TO REVERSE ENDOMETRIAL CANCER !!!!!!!!!!! It’s gone !!!!!! 😭 My appreciation for and connection back to my body begins again. What a wild ride. by @zen.zo____
What do you hear in your body when you hear this song? I hear the reminder that my body has been so clearly communicating.. To slow down, and that unfortunately I cant be everything I want to be before my time.. This time last year, around the winter solstice, my body literally started shutting down. It was really scary. I ended up in hospital, followed by an invasive surgery and a pretty dark mental breakdown. A pretty harsh lesson in alignment with the season.. to slow down. Because when I don’t, apparently my body will do it for me.

A lesson I seem to struggle listening to.. How do I listen when there is so much to do and so much to be? Sooo many beautiful things and people in my life at the moment, that I just want to give my whole entire being to. But my body remembers this year, deeply feeling the pain and reminder from last.. it’s been pretty confronting. So i’m going to try my hardest to actually listen this time. Putting this here as a little reminder (to mostly myself) to slow down and listen to your body too. So I’m going inward for a little while, and will take some space from this app, to help quiet my mind. All Willow Flow + The Inner Garden classes are sold out for term 3, and my 1:1 books are now full. But for now, I’m taking a moment to pause, close my eyes, dance a little, make some art, listen to the trees and listen to my body. If you need me - hello@zenzotherapy.com.au x x by @zen.zo____
A snippet of the Autumn Equinox Afternoon Art Ritual earlier this autumn with @zen.zo____ + @sarahfromthecosmos 🍂 Here at the farm, the changing seasons are deeply honoured, not just through the land itself, but through the way we gather, create and slow down alongside it. Autumn invited us inward. A time to release, reflect, harvest and prepare for the quieter months ahead. And now, as winter approaches, the farm begins to slow and replenish. A season of composting, restoring, nourishing the soil beneath the surface, and trusting in what is quietly taking root unseen. Join us in honouring this coming season and SAVE THE DATE for our annual Winter Solstice community gathering, The Winter Weave, here on @purplepearfarm , June 20th - 21st. Over the weekend, there will be a series of special offerings held across the farm, including here at the cosmos cabin. Many gentle spaces to pause, reconnect and align with the stillness of winter together as a community. More details coming very soon 🤎 by @zen.zo____
A little snippet from the Willow Flow end of term concert 🤍🌿 Willow Flow is a mindful movement class that invites children to listen to their bodies and express freely, rather than focusing on technique and perfection like most dance classes. This class weaves together dance, movement therapy, yoga and mindfulness. A beautiful opportunity for your child to enhance their self-esteem, confidence, emotional regulation and body awareness, in a gentle, playful way, whilst building their coordination, balance and flexibility! There are only a few spots left for term 2: 🍃 Mondays 11am - 11.45am | ages 3-4 🍃 Tuesdays 12pm - 12.45pm | ages 3-4 🍃 Wednesdays 3.30pm - 4.30pm | ages 5-8 Held at @_the.cosmos.co Send me a message if you’d like some more info! by @zen.zo____
Last week we had The Inner Garden end of term art exhibition 🌿🥂✨ An invitation for the children to share their unique creations, made with materials from the earth, and the stories, feelings, and meaning behind them. Families and friends wandered through the space, sipping chilled lemon myrtle tea, witnessing the creative journeys that unfolded across the term. The deeper therapeutic intention behind this exhibition was to offer the children the experience of being seen, heard, and valued in their authentic expression. A space of reverence for their inner worlds. To honour their process. To build confidence. To celebrate their creativity and imagination. And to gently bridge their inner world with their outer world. It was so special to witness how proud they were, standing beside their work, sharing parts of their ‘inner garden’, and glowing as their creations were received with curiosity and care. There is only one spot left in each class for next term: Mondays 12.15pm | ages 3-4 Tuesdays 1.15pm | ages 3-4 Wednesdays 2.30pm | ages 5-8 Send me a message if you’d love your little one to join us next term 🌱 by @zen.zo____

As the season turns, we arrive at the moment of the Autumn Equinox, a quiet threshold where day and night stand in balance before the darker half of the year begins. Join The Cosmos Co. co-creators, arts therapist @zen.zo____ + holistic counsellor @sarahfromthecosmos for an afternoon to pause with the season. To reflect on what has grown, what has ripened, and what may now be ready to fall away. In nature, the trees release their leaves not as a loss, but as preparation for renewal. This gentle afternoon gathering is an invitation to honour that same wisdom within ourselves through nature, creativity, and ritual. Together we will slow down, connect with the land, and move through a therapeutic creative process using stone, earth pigments, charcoal, and natural materials. You’ll be guided through a seasonal journey including: 🍂 meditations and nature sit spot 🍂 gentle movement to embody the turning season 🍂 meditative drawing + painting with earth pigments and charcoal 🍂 reflective journalling 🍂 beeswax candle rolling - a little light to take into the darker days ahead 🍂 shared seasonal soup and community connection Saturday 21st March
3.30pm -7pm If you feel the call to slow down, create with the earth, and mark the turning season together, you are warmly welcome. *please note, no art experience is required. This is a gentle and guided therapeutic creative process focused on reflection and expression, rather than artistic skill or outcome. Investment: $60 *includes your very own journal, art work and beeswax candle to take home as well as a nourishing seasonal soup to enjoy around the fire. Send Zoe @zen.zo____ a message to book your spot 🤎 by @zen.zo____
