Using a chair here because backbends are not something you just drop into cold. This kind of prep opens up the chest, loosens tight hip flexors, and gets your shoulders ready to actually support you in poses like wheel or camel.

Nobody tells you this about yoga. The pose looks calm and effortless but every muscle is fighting for its life underneath that smile 😭

I’m currently deep into my 200hr yoga teacher training and learning fast that “looks easy” and “is easy” are two very different things.
