📢 Students deserve a library that supports their success!📚

Students need more time and access to a space where they can study, especially during busy exam periods.

We’re calling on the administration to address library understaffing and extend library hours so students can study later into the evening. A university library should meet students’ needs, not limit their study time.

We want longer library hours!!!

Yesterday, October 07, marked three years since the beginning of the war in Gaza and the widespread displacement of Palestinians. At AUSU, we want to take this opportunity to make our position clear: we oppose occupation, imperialism, and international wars that devastate communities, displace families, and cost innocent lives.

We call for an end to the occupation in Palestine and condemn the ongoing genocide of Palestinians. We condemn imperialism in all its forms and call for collective action toward achieving a just and lasting peace in the Middle East and everywhere else.

Students are against war. Students are against displacement. We strive to build a fairer society where all people can live with freedom, dignity, and security, free from the devastating impacts of occupation, war, and imperialism.

Students for justice. Students for human dignity. Students for peace.

STUDENTS, TAKE ACTION!
Part-Time Faculty at Algoma University are currently bargaining for fair working conditions, including recognition for cancelled courses and fair wages.
Conciliation begins November 12. If negotiations don’t reach a fair agreement, Part-Time Faculty may go on strike.

Students can show their support by writing to the Algoma University President, VPAR, and Board of Governors and asking them to reach a fair agreement with Part-Time Faculty.

Send your letter here: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/support-fairness-for-algoma-u-part-time-faculty/

Or

Scan the QR code on the poster to take action.
