Irrigation designers and specifiers: are you designing a controller installation, or a water management system that keeps improving for the next decade?

On Thursday, October 8 at 9 AM PT, HydroPoint’s Chris Wright, VP of Channel Sales, and Bob Beers, Director of Product Management, join the American Society of Irrigation Consultants for Applied Intelligence for Water Management: From controllers to connected systems built for the next decade.

They’ll cover:
• How Applied Intelligence combines evapotranspiration data, flow sensing, AI predictions, and automated control to deliver measurable outcomes

• Specifying for adaptability: connectivity, observability, interoperability, governance, and lifecycle

• A five-question specification stress test to apply to your next project

This webinar is open to ASIC members, register using the link in our bio!

This property just made the smartest move of the season: upgrading to #Baselineirrigation
With a new #HydroPoint smart irrigation system going in, they're trading guesswork for data-driven watering, and setting their landscape up to thrive while using water more responsibly.

Smart move. Smart water. 💧

There are a handful of systems I haven’t had the chance or pleasure of putting my hands on. This @baseline_irrigation controller will be the first of its kind that I have had the opportunity to do troubleshooting on. Follow me for more! I post stuff like this almost every single day #SprinklerDude with @nashvilleirrigationandlighting by @baseline_irrigation

Smart irrigation, real conversations. Chris Manchuck spent time with the Denver Water and CPS team going in depth on #efficiency covering proactive monitoring, better data, and #smartercontrollers, and how they add up to real water savings.

Congratulations to two outstanding teams honored at the 2026 ASIC Excellence in Irrigation Awards.

Las Flores, California earned an Honor Award in the Recycled Water Irrigation Conversion category. The project converted an existing potable #irrigationsystem to recycled water across 1,648 homes and roughly 53 acres of common-area landscape overcoming significant elevation and pressure challenges through hydraulic analysis, system redesign, and new #infrastructure to deliver an estimated 65 million gallons of water annually. Congratulations to Steve Hohl of Water Concern, Ltd. and Danny Smith on this well-earned recognition.

West Resthaven Cemetery Park in Glendale, Arizona took home a Merit Award for Existing System Evaluation. Facing aging infrastructure and the challenge of maintaining uninterrupted operations in an active cemetery, the team transformed a largely manual, deteriorating system into a modern, #efficientirrigation network improving water-use efficiency and long-term sustainability while preserving the site's cultural significance. Congratulations to Andrew Chase of The Davey Institute for this achievement.

Both projects are a great reminder of what's possible when smart planning, hydraulic expertise, and a commitment to water efficiency come together. Congratulations to all of this year's ASIC award winners!

#Smartwatermanagement doesn't happen by accident. It happens at tables like this one.

Every industry has its legends, ours just happen to obsess over flow rates and #efficiency. Meet the #waternerds shaping what's next.

Calculating Landscape Irrigation Requirements (LIR) is how you move from irrigation guesswork to precision.

Baseline takes LIR further with real-time soil moisture data — adjusting irrigation based on what the root zone actually needs, not theoretical calculations. The result: healthier landscapes and dramatically lower outdoor water use.

A big thank you to The Mark Landscapes for having Ed Hodnett, HydroPoint's Texas Channel Sales Manager, out to walk their team through the latest in #irrigationtechnology. Irrigation is one of the most complex parts of the #landscape industry, and it's always energizing to spend time with a team that's just as committed to getting it right.

This is exactly the kind of partnership we love! Not just providing the technology, but making sure the people using it every day have the know-how to get the most out of it. Efficient water use, fewer repairs, real savings: that's the goal, and it starts with training.

Thanks for having us, and here's to more days like this one. by @baseline_irrigation

Some sites make the training day a little more memorable.

Ben Coffey, Jonathan Heredia, and Charles Zaher spent time at #SoFiStadium recently, touring the grounds and leading a hands-on session with the team managing irrigation at one of the most recognizable venues in the country.

SoFi Stadium relies on #HydroPoint controller technology to help manage water use across its expansive grounds. Proof that #smartirrigation belongs at every scale, from neighborhood parks to world-class stadiums.
