I found this video on a right-wing agenda page. This is what they sell and feed to their followers. It's a ridiculous, overreaching depiction of someone who has created his own facade. Beyond that, i will say the live execution is not intended as a moral issue, it's intended as a demoralizing issue as a threat to all Americans meant to make a weak male now in charge of the dept. of War feel like he's a man and not that kid who was bullied. Because of the SECWAR and others in the administrations personal shortcomings, they are willing to risk the fact that children will indeed eventually see it with complete disregard to at what cost. Public executions were stopped in 1937, the last being by hanging. Why they were stopped was because in firing squads in particular, they found it caused some soldiers severe psychological distress, moral injury, and long-term trauma for those involved. This is a huge flex for an administration that has lost many of their followers due to false narratives, including being self-righteous, demeaning every Christian value set forth by their own actions. If you stand with a party that has continually allowed the snowball effect of greed, stolen valor, war crimes, murder, rape, abduction, tax evation, fraud, takeovers, brutality and crimes against humanity, then the big question is why? Because none of that should be tolerated in the United States of America by anyone, not just the citizens who resist the government officials who participate in all of those atrocities daily. Everything they are doing to all the established entities made to help the American people, which have been fractured to control the people, will continue for many generations if not stopped as soon as possible. As much as we Americans are trying to fight the good fight, nothing will change without VOTING THEM OUT and continuing to step up to any adversaries no matter what department they are from when caught breaking our constitutional laws. That's my opinion. I know many will agree and disagree, but my thoughts are about our children and what kind of world we'll leave behind for the future generations to come. It was really great to get out on Second Saturday and hang out at @souplaws Soupé and @itschristiekaye 's Open Studio not only because of the pre-Dia de los Muertos ofrenda we set up but for all of it, including the art, vendors and food! Equally great was @barrera_beatrice and @christineherbeck coming to meet up and hang out. We walked around the block to @haus_of_etchcraft and 1906 Gallery to see more friends exhibits and catch CJ's The Cramp stellar solo set of The Cramps. It's been a long time since I did an art walk through the @lonestarartsdistrict ,and it was great to see it thriving with lots of people roaming around. At one point, many moons ago, it was an area I used to roam around before going to shows, but mostly during First Fridays. The artists who own these studios are so important to our art community. This is the special community ofrenda that @itschristiekaye and I built at @souplaws and Christie's studio for their #secondsaturday Open Studio. It's been a minute since i had worked on a public alter, and I loved that this was in a more intimate community setting. I took this video right when the event was starting, then later after going and visiting some other open studios in the area, I came back to the delight of seeing so many people had added their photos and special messages and really took advantage of this early celebration for the Day of the Dead. This one is so special. 🕯️ With the help of our amazing friend @bell_star_tx, we have turned our front room into a community altar for all to add to this Second Saturday. On October 10th from 7PM to 11PM, stop by @souplaws and I’s open studio for a night of art, trick-or-treat goodie bags, an artisan market full of local vendors, and a community ofrenda where you can leave a photocopy of a loved one you would like to honor. No photo to bring? No worries. We will have cards available to write their names on instead. Omg, look at the most precious thing that was mailed to me from NY by Artists @michaelolivarri.art !! It's a sticker book with Dolly and her inspired clothes to dress her and other women of different nationalities throughout the book on different pages!
