We left Los Angeles 11 years ago today. 2 drugged up cats in the car and 2 gorgeous people who had no idea what we were getting into. Miss you LA. ❤️ what we’ve done in Nashville. I’ve never lived in the same place for this long. Whew! by @bryanleeweaver

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!! In what feels like a blink of an eye, we’re celebrating our two year anniversary today!! It’s amazing to see the growth and evolution of our team, concept and community in that time. Every single guest that has come through our doors has helped shape who we are today - so a huge THANK YOU to our team and everyone who’s shown support over the past two years. And if you haven’t been in recently, I’d highly encourage you to see how with each service that passes, we continue to push ourselves to be the best restaurant for our community!! by @bryanleeweaver

This tornado feels like so long ago. This date always hits a little hard. It’s crazy how little damage we felt compared to so many of our neighbors. Going to check on the damage at the bee in the middle of the night/storm sticks with me still.

We were able to reopen the bee for less than a week before we had to shut down for Covid.

It still gives me all the feelings to remember how much people came together to pull through and fight the good fight. Still feeling for our friends that suffered way more than we did.

❤️ you Nashville. by @bryanleeweaver

I moved to Nashville to open @butcherandbee

I’m so proud that we turn 10 years old today. I helped us get our start and our amazing team is crushing it over there since I decided to open a little taco shop.

This is a picture of my cats helping me work on the opening menu when we were in LA.

Come by and see us and celebrate us

I don’t even know what to say about this shit. It’s easy to dismiss things sometimes and pretend not to care, but…

In 2010 I was a line cook in Portland. I sat in the back of living room theaters watching Jiro dreams of sushi.

I wrote down a list of goals in the back of the theater. I still have that notebook. One of the goals was to work for a Michelin restaurant.

To be recognized in any way for the things we do at stranger means a lot. I’ve come a long way, but mostly I’ve tried really hard to not suck and be a good person. I’d like to think that is a part of why stranger has turned into what it is. We are proud of what we do, stick to our ways, and most days we do it pretty fucking well.

I’m just a small part of this thing and am so grateful for my people, the farms, the family who support me everyday and the love the people bring in the building. Feels good to take a day to feel good.

Feeling all the love 😘 by @bryanleeweaver

Happy birthday to my best friend. I can’t believe it’s been six years. 1000 torn up tennis balls. Roughly 4200 walks.

I love you Ranger! ❤️🐶 by @bryanleeweaver
