Ok, now it’s open…😅

With unprecedented growth in demand in recent years, entries for the Cardiff Half are now offered via a Ballot to help manage demand and ensure fair access for everyone.

📅 Race Day: Sunday 3 October 2027

The Ballot is FREE to enter. Simply register your details and payment information, and you’ll only be charged if you’re successful. There are separate UK and International Ballots, with spaces allocated at random.

If you don’t want to leave your place to chance, there are limited Skip the Ballot options available, including:

- @nspcc_official Fundraiser
- @welshathletics entry (1500 available)
- @cardiff10k training bundle (run CDF 10K & Cardiff Half in 2027)
- Welsh Distance Double (run @newportmarathonfestival & Cardiff Half in 2027)
- Welsh Half & Half bundle (run Jones o Gymru Anglesey Half Marathon & Cardiff Half in 2027)

A quick note before purchasing Skip the Ballot: entries are purchased as a guaranteed place, so cannot be cancelled or refunded if you subsequently enter the Ballot and are also successful.

Link to ballot entry in our bio.

THEY ARE LIVE 🔥

2027 R4W 10K Series bundles are now live! With a limited number available, these are expected to sell fast!

NEW for this year: pick your bundle! Instead of choosing pre-selected bundles, you can choose which of the 10K races you want to do and save a bundle in the process. Very nice!

Check out the link in our bio for entry details. by @cardiff10k

Thank you to the 300+ incredible runners who joined Team Kidney Wales at this year’s Cardiff 10K!

What a special way to celebrate 40 years of the Cardiff 10K — and we’re so grateful that you chose to spend the day with us.

Every step you took and every penny raised will help support families living with kidney disease across Wales.

Thank you for being part of Team Kidney Wales and making this milestone year so memorable. We couldn’t do it without you! Diolch o galon! by @cardiff10k

A huge shout out to the amazing @breconwater Plogging Team for their efforts yesterday! They were collecting recyclable plastic across the course whilst running. Did you spot them crossing the finishing line with their bags? ♻️ by @cardiff10k
