🔥 WHAT A SEASON. WHAT A TEAM. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!

That’s a wrap on @deadlydozenaus 2026, and what a way to finish in Newcastle! An unforgettable weekend and the perfect finale to an incredible season.

A huge shoutout to the amazing volunteers, incredible athletes and everyone who made this season so special. And how good was seeing the very first kids race! 🙌

I’ve been lucky enough to experience Deadly Dozen from both sides of the fence, racing on the track and being part of the team behind it all. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences, made even more special by the friendships and connections with so many amazing people and athletes along the way. ❤️

Newcastle, you certainly helped us finish on a high! Already counting down to 2027. Can’t wait to do it all again and see everyone back out on the track!

Until next season… 💪🔥

Solo this morning need to say was a solid little one, 50:42 and couldn’t be happier. @joshclark.26 we’re kicking goals. 💪🔥

Backing up couple hours later with @tylerwalsgott for a bloody fast second hit out. For a couple of old bois getting it done, so pumped with how we went. 35:45 YTB.

Huge shout out to @wodfit__hervey_bay_gym__hyrox for putting on an amazing morning. Also shouting out to all who came and supported the morning. Such an incredible community.

BIG SESSION. BIG SWEAT. SMART FUELLING. 🔥

1hr 50min of solid work this morning — treadmill, bike, sleds and wall balls and what a belter morning it was.💪

With around 3.5L sweat loss. This is why I don’t leave hydration and fuelling to chance.

🧂 @lemalt.co salts before the session.
⚡ @moorendurancefuelco + @vert_nutrition_ during the sweat session.

Supporting hydration, electrolyte replacement and energy intake so I can keep putting in the work. Without the support of these guys, it wouldn’t happen.

It’s not just about how hard you train. It’s about how well you fuel the effort.

Lately, the bike has become a big part of my training, and the second session today proved why it’s working.

Bringing something I still love into my training has been a real eye opener. Ye ol muscle memory is working into Hyrox and flat out helping build aerobic capacity, leg strength, power endurance and the ability to keep working with fatigue.

So good progression comes from adding something different, not just doing more of the same.

For @joshclark.26 coaching and me, the bike is becoming another piece of the puzzle as we chase our goals.

Turns out the old legs still remember how to ride 😂😂… and still love it. 🚴‍♂️🔥

I sweat A LOT, and hydration and fuelling are a big part of my training.

💧 Before training — LEMALT MINERAL SALTS
Why @lemalt.co before a session?? It’s to get ahead of hydration and top up electrolytes before I starting a sweat session.

⚡ During training — MOOR Endurance
During the session, straight into @moorendurancefuelco for ongoing hydration, electrolytes and carbs to help replace what I’m losing. Gives me 40g of carbs, 500mg sodium and 200mg potassium per serve keep the fuel coming.

This just helps support energy and performance to get it done.

LEMALT → start hydrated.
MOOR → stay fuelled and hydrated.

What is Deadly Dozen?

Well, in a few words… our own little community.

Deadly Dozen might be small compared to some of the bigger events out there, but honestly, that’s what makes it so special.

It has a feeling that’s hard to explain until you experience it — almost like a school sports day.

You see familiar faces, make new friends, cheer for people you’ve never even met, and no matter where you look, there’s someone encouraging someone else to keep pushing.

And I think that’s what makes Deadly Dozen different.

It’s about the people, the community and the feeling you get while you’re there.

That’s Deadly Dozen. ❤️‍🔥
