POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This fall, @allintovote took six Youth Voting Summits on the road. 🗳️

Student leaders built the skills to register voters, educate their peers, and make civic engagement a habit on their own campuses — the kind of work that builds lasting civic infrastructure long after this November’s elections.

Six summits down, and the work these students are leading is just getting started. Take a deeper look at what unfolded at the North Carolina summit at the 🔗 in our bio. When lawyers rushed to airports in 2017 to help travelers affected by the anti-Muslim travel bans, @wetheaction was born. For Executive Director Anna Chu, pro bono work has always been about showing up when it matters most.

Anna has helped steer more than $100 million in donated legal services to nonprofits, and she’s calling on lawyers to show up for voters and fair elections through the Democracy Legal Defense Network.

Swipe to meet the 2026 @napabanational Pro Bono Service Award recipient leading the charge, and joining us in wishing her a very happy birthday week! 🎂👉 An announcement titled "Initiative Spotlight" features "We The Action," an organization founded in 2017 to assist travelers affected by anti-Muslim travel bans, by connecting legal talent with causes. Highlighted text mentions extending their mission to voting rights. What does it take to strengthen democracy? 🗳️ One year into Civic Nation 2030, we’re even more sure of our answer — people showing up for each other. It’s the voters showing up to thousands of Party at the Polls celebrations this fall 🥳, the lawyers defending the vote ⚖️, the students leading on campus 🎒, the neighbors building belonging 🏡, and the local leaders learning from each other 🧠.

This Constitution Day 📜, we’re thinking about the parts of election law that rarely make headlines:

➡️ The years-long backlog of eligibility reviews
➡️ The compliance questions that keep voter registration drives from getting shut down before they start
➡️ The quiet legal support keeping experienced election officials on the job when they’re facing harassment or intimidation
➡️ The volunteers monitoring ballot canvassing and certification meetings, where a single procedural challenge can stall a count long after polls close

All work that @wetheactionorg’s Democracy Legal Defense Network was created to support.

Public trust in elections depends on legal infrastructure being in place well before anyone votes. For lawyers, the Democracy Legal Defense Network is a direct way to put legal expertise to work protecting the systems elections depend on. ⚖️

It’s National Voter Registration Week of Action 🗳️, and with only 50 days to go until November 3, even we need the additional reminder. For the people doing the work of getting everyone else civically engaged, it might be easy to become so focused on mobilizing others that we forget to check our own registration status. 👀

That’s why this reminder is for YOU. 🫵
Check your voter registration right now at the 🔗 in our bio. 50 Days Until Election Day poster with images of people holding signs and wearing shirts related to voting. The bottom text encourages checking voter registration. by @civicnation

@wetheaction is helping @acluofwi get more lawyers on the ground before November 3. ⚖️

Wisconsin's lawyers are concentrated in Milwaukee and Madison, leaving communities in the western part of the state, especially near the Minnesota border, stretched thin. This cross-border recruitment effort is stepping in to close that gap.

Election protection used to be a once-every-few-years ask. It isn’t anymore. That shift is exactly why We The Action exists, and why efforts like this one keep growing. Check out the 🔗 in bio for the full story. A graphic with a quote from Annu Chu, Executive Director of We The Action, about the importance of lawyers' contributions as midterms approach. The background is orange with a small "We The Action" logo at the top. A "Vote Here" sign with an American flag is on the right side. by @civicnation

Meet our Campus Organizing and Training Program Manager, Timothy 👋

As a member of our @itsonus team, Timothy works to expand student leadership and peer education across the organization’s national campus network. He previously advised It’s On Us’ national research team on culturally specific barriers to prevention in Greek Life, bringing insights from Midwestern campuses into the organization’s training work. Before Civic Nation, Timothy facilitated leadership development programs in Northern Ireland with the @greatlakesofficial and Leaders Across Borders, and contributed to Generator Z, a @rcwjrf initiative focused on elevating Gen Z perspectives. His work with the initiative led to Z to Z: Conversations of a Generation, a published collection of reflections on identity, community, and change.

Thank you, Timothy, for training campus leaders to build a culture of prevention at every college. We appreciate you! 🎉 This image features a "Staff Spotlight" for Timothy Page, Campus Organizing and Training Program Manager at It's On Us.
