Last week, our Executive Director, @dextercmason, had the privilege of attending and speaking at the 2026 Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (SLCE) Conference presented by Transform Mid-Atlantic.

Each year, SLCE cultivates a thriving network of students, faculty, staff, and community partners working together to advance the public purposes of higher education through authentic, reciprocal partnerships.

During the panel on Civic Homes, Dexter discussed how the Change Collective creates and supports spaces that build trust, access to information, and a shared purpose, including higher education.

We are so proud to be a part of this great event! 💪

Shoutout Big Blue & Gold Stillman College ✨💙💛
Student Leadership literally knocked doors in the dorm, held conversations about why voting matters.

I’m reminded of the words of the Late John Lewis, “I say to each and everyone of you, in the best way I can. I gave a little blood on the bridge, but some people gave their lives. The vote is precious. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have in a democratic society, and we must use it. And so you must go out all across America and tell young people, and people not so young, tell all of us: Vote. The vote is powerful.”
