Still soaking this in 🤍

I was named one of the 2025 Entreprenista 100 ( @entreprenista100 ), and what keeps landing for me is that this recognition reflects the people who helped build @bravewellnessstudio alongside me.

From our therapists, instructors, and students, to our community members, mentors, friends, and family- this work has never been a solo effort. What began as a vision to blend therapy, yoga, and community into a more human approach to mental health exists because of trust, courage, and collective care.

Grateful to @entreprenistas for creating space that uplifts women founders and grateful for the community that continues to make this work meaningful.

Sitting with this… and celebrating. 🤍🥂 #womenfounders #wellnessentrepreneur #latinaentrepreneur by @deniseaalba

Thank you, @sandiegomag for creating space to celebrate women who are paving new paths in wellness and beyond ✨

To be recognized among so many incredible women is an honor. The nomination represents every woman who ever led with heart who turned healing into purpose and challenge into change.

I’m so grateful to my team, our community and every woman who continues to show up BRAVEly for herself and others. How special to be nominated with a fellow BRAVE member @lindsey.seegers 🤍

Seven days, one villa, and a group that arrived as strangers. 🇮🇹

I’ve been sitting with this week since I got home. What stays with me isn’t the scenery, it’s how much people soften when they’re given enough time and enough room. A week abroad does things a weekend can’t.

Here are some frames from a week I’m still processing.

Therapists: if you’ve ever wondered what building something like this looks like behind the scenes, ask me anything. 🤍

I said follow along, then went quiet. 🇮🇹

Turns out leading a retreat means being in it, not filming it. Here’s a look at getting the villa ready and a week I’m still processing.

A huge thank you to the women-founded brands who filled our welcome bags: Mimi Truong @igzolted (Bullet Journal Method), Carin Parcel of @carinsusanndesigns (Carin Susann Designs), and Meena Puri of @ayurvedichealingcenter (Root Healing Method). And a special thank you to @liacardoso_skc of @theskinleaf.co (Skin Leaf Co.) for donating an entire box of skin care. You made every guest feel welcome before the retreat even began. 🤍

More to share soon.

Andiamo 🇮🇹✈️
On my way to lead a sold-out wellness retreat in Italy. A week abroad does something a weekend up a mountain never could- softens your nervous system, primes you for real work, actually rewires. Come along for a week that’s about to rewire more than a routine.

#ad Half torn apart, half becoming something new. 🌙

Moon Magic sent me a few pieces to try mid-renovation, and I picked moonstone- the stone of new beginnings. Turned into a small, steady reminder to trust my own instincts instead of pushing through every decision.

This is it. 🌿
New living room lobby, coffee/tea station, refreshed office one, a dedicated somatic and ketam!ne room, and yes, I gave myself the “boss office.” Three rooms, one vision. Welcome to the new BRAVE 🤍#sandiegomentalhealth #sandiegowellness by @deniseaalba

Sat down with CanvasRebel to talk about how BRAVE actually came to be. 🤍

The short version: as a therapist, I kept watching people leave session feeling hopeful, then spend the rest of the week navigating burnout and disconnection completely on their own. Therapy was working, but it felt like we were asking people to heal in isolation.

So I built the thing I couldn’t find. Not another therapy practice, not another yoga studio. A place where clinical care and community actually live together.

I also got honest in this one about unlearning the idea that safety only comes from playing it safe. Turns out becoming an entrepreneur made me a better therapist and being a therapist is what’s made me BRAVE enough to keep building this.
