Echoes Beyond Frequency

Somewhere between the organic and the electronic, sound becomes a space of encounter.

On September 18, at Teja House, we came together to listen beyond the familiar, moving through textures, frequencies, rhythms and unexpected sonic territories.

Japa, Nil and Pina Noa brought three distinct sonic practices into the same space, allowing the night to unfold through listening, discovery and connection.

Thank you to everyone who entered this space with us — those who listened closely, stayed curious and became part of the experience. 🖤

A huge thank you to Japa, Ni and Pina Noa for sharing their sounds, energy and unique worlds with us. 🖤

On September 4, we went on a journey together.

Three rooms.
Three different performances.
Six incredible women artists.
And one night shaped by music.

Moving from one room to another, from one sound to the next, we followed improvisation, classical music, unexpected moments, and the unique energy of each performance.

This was more than a concert night. Each room had its own atmosphere, each performance its own story, and each moment became an experience that could only exist right there, right then.

We are deeply grateful to all the artists, listeners, and everyone who helped make this private Sofar Sounds Lisbon experience possible. 🤍 Thank you very much for being part of this journey.

Music is not always a destination.
Sometimes, music itself is the journey.

On September 4th, we continued our Music as a Journey: Private Improvisational Music Experience with pianist Eleni-Persefoni Stavrianou @eleni.pianist and soprano Natalia Gorban @nataliagorbansoprano . 🤍

In the third room of our musical journey, Eleni and Natalia brought Portraits of the Feminine to life, exploring women’s stories through music, voice, and piano.

In our conversation, they shared more about the project and the stories behind their musical choices, inviting us into their creative world.

Thank you, Eleni & Natalia, for being part of this beautiful journey. ✨
