The response to last week’s post about my perimenopause program has been nuts. And I get it - that’s exactly why I built this. There’s so much information out there, but it’s often confusing, conflicting, or just not feasible for the lives we’re actually living. So I’m doing a free webinar on Tuesday August 4 at 4pm ET to talk about what’s happening during this time, what we can do about it, and how to get ahead of both the health piece and the career piece - without taking on another full-time job.Link in bio to register. ♥️⚡️#perimenopausesupport by @futurepresentco

Yup - perimenopause post, comin in hot👀After experiencing my own burnout and helping dozens of high-performers recover from and prevent their own, I thought I’d seen every version of “holding it together while everything is on fire.”And then perimenopause showed up and was like “hold my beer.”Trying to remember everyday words in the middle of a professional conversation. Waking up at 3am the night before speaking engagements and busy work days. Crushing fatigue, difficulty focusing, wild mood swings. And the distinct feeling that the usual tools I rely on may not be enough. So I did what I do - I dug in, started learning more, and put the learning into practice. Here’s what I know:- Perimenopause is disruptive and confusing, in all of the ways.- It’s also a window of opportunity to set ourselves up for better health later in life.- And it’s not just a health issue. It’s also a performance issue. My work lives at the intersection of performance and wellness. And damn if this doesn’t sit squarely in the middle of both.So I built something I didn’t see anywhere else: A coaching program for high-achieving women who don’t have time for perimenopause to upend their lives and careers - and aren’t really sure what to do about it.⚡️8-weeks. Small private cohort. Group sessions + 1:1 sessions. Virtual. Confidential. Customized via the transformational pattern-recognition framework I use with all of my clients.Science, strategy, and support.⚡️Beta round now open. Truly thrilled to be joining the @recordingacademy ’s 2026 New Member Class.20+ years in this industry, and it’s always come back to the same thing for me: supporting the people behind the music. From artist management to marketing strategy, and now as a coach/consultant/advisor - that’s always been my favorite part.So I’m psyched to be a part of this community which does that at scale - supporting, advocating, and uplifting both music creators and professionals. Being involved seat in these conversations means I get to keep doing that work, at an even bigger table.I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my voice, contribute to the Grammy Awards process, and be part of conversations that help move our industry forward.Thank you to Joyce Dollinger and Neeta Ragoowansi for the nominations!#IAmTheAcademy by @futurepresentco

Late on posting this because holy cow there has been so much going on but I didn’t want to miss a chance to highlight the work that @eccholive is doing to provide coaching and counseling (and so much more) for the live and touring community of the music industry.I’m so grateful to have been onsite with ECCHO Live at @govballnyc a couple of weekends ago, to provide support backstage at the festival alongside fellow coaches Kasey Cleckler and Sarah Page and therapist Elisa Peimer. There’s something about being in that environment that feels like home to me. Maybe it’s having spent most of my life in the theatre that makes the behind-the-scenes chaos and collaboration feel familiar. Maybe it’s having been on the road myself and having lived the reality of real-time problem-solving, the feeling of being everywhere and nowhere at the same time, and the camaraderie of navigating challenges when no one knows the answer because everyone just got there.Whatever it is, it’s an honor to be able to not only support the people who need it - but meet them where they are WHEN they need it.Here’s some more info on the work ECCHO Live does - both onsite at festivals and events and virtually on-demand: www.eccholive.com/what-we-do by @futurepresentco

Music Biz recap comin’ in hot!! So great to see so many familiar faces and meet a whole bunch of new ones. So many meaningful conversations, reconnections, fun hangs, and cool opportunities. It was incredible to be able to have an important panel discussion about - not just “wellness - but about how exactly to build a wellness strategy into your actual business plan. This is often the missing link - we know we “should” be taking care of ourselves, but it can feel like an add-on or an afterthought. This panel was about how to weave it in as part of the work - and the thing that makes the work sustainable for the long haul.I also got to lead the opening welcome meditation for the @cacmusicgroup Wellness Lounge - guiding a room full of conference attendees through a series of grounding practices to leave them with a feeling of calm and focus that they were able to bring into the rest of their day. The feedback was profound and truly I hope this becomes a thing at more conferences.Thank you @musicbizassoc and to everyone who made it such a special week!! by @futurepresentco

A few moments from our time at #MusicBiz2026 🤎Over the course of the week, the Chill Palm Wellness Lounge became a space for people to pause in the middle of everything. From meditation and yoga sessions to sound baths, conversations, and quiet moments between meetings, it was really special to see so many people slow down, reconnect, and take a breath together.A special thank you to our incredible wellness practitioners Kayce Laine (@kaycelaine), Jonny Mah (@jonnymah), and Marni Wandner (@marniwandner) for bringing so much care and intention into the lounge throughout the week.Grateful to everyone who stopped by, shared space with us, and helped make this experience so memorable. The music industry moves fast, but this week was a reminder that community, presence, and wellbeing deserve a place within it too.#musicbiz #wellnessevent #chillpalm #chillpalmsounds by @futurepresentco

Next Wed May 20 at 1:30p ET, ll be co-presenting a live mental health workshop with @womeninmusic about how to navigate, yes burnout and overwhelm and #allofthethings we need to do on a daily basis - but also that mental load of feeling like we have to do at all, every day. Rebekah Espinosa and I will discuss moving beyond the idea of (everyone’s favorite wellness buzzword) “balance” as a goal, reframing mental health as part of work strategy and life strategy, and talking about:• Redefining self-care as strategic recovery• Detangling identity from productivity• Default caretaking roles among women• Building energy “pit stops” into a busy scheduleMay 20 | 1:30 PM ETL!ink in bio to register (Free for WIM members) by @futurepresentco

🙊 Confessions of a formerly burnt out business owner…I still catch myself doing this sometimes! It’s a lot different now - I call myself out on it as soon as it creeps up, but, man, back in the day…I felt like I was doing something wrong if I was not working. ⚡️ Especially because it was my business And we were in the music industry which doesn’t stop for anyone. I talk about it a bit n my conversation with Chandani Patel Thompson, lawyer, founder of @clarityprint.co , and host of Rest to Rise a free virtual summit taking place May 19 - 22, specifically created for professionals in high-pressure roles.🔗 L!nk in bio to register for free. by @futurepresentco

“Intentional breaks” can look like so many things! My personal lists include a combination of things that energize or ground me. Or things that help me focus or enhance my creativity. Here are just a few:* Various breathwork techniques depending on the situation* My favorite quick mindfulness/focusing exercises and NSDR* Movement/stretching/walking/shaking my body out* Getting outside * Heat or cold* Eating a high-protein meal or snack* Jin shin jyutsuSo many more! ⚡️ The “secret” is knowing what works (specifically for us, in specific situations) and that comes from listening and paying attention to ourselves and where we might be “leaking” energy, where we might get activated, etc.1: Recognize what you need in various situations2: Identify a few ways to get it3: Make a list of stuff that works for you in different situations📞 Hit me up if you’re curious what could work for you.♥️ And join me for Rest2Rise, a free virtual summit (May 19–22) where I’ll be speaking about strategic rest and sharing some of my favorite tools.L!nk in bio to register 🔗 by @futurepresentco
