A beautiful day on our Elite Towers of San Gimignano tour 🍷🏰
Rolling hills, historic towers, wonderful wines and one truly outstanding lunch at a winery made this Tuscan day extra special.

San Gimignano always has its own magic, and sharing it with our guests over great food, Vernaccia, and stunning views is what makes this experience so memorable.

Private tours are planned around each individual group, which means no two days are ever exactly the same.

That’s part of what makes them so special. We get to spend time with some of the wonderful people and wineries we know and love, enjoying Chianti Classico in a more personal and relaxed way.

The 2026 grapes are all in! 🍇🍷

Cheers to another harvest in the books. And this one came with an extra reason to celebrate: a big birthday! 🎂🥂

Our lovely group marked the occasion in true Tuscan style, enjoying several wines from previous vintages while raising a glass to both the harvest and the birthday boy.

One harvest finishes, while the wines from years past remind us just how rewarding the cycle can be.

What a fantastic Tasty Tuscany tour yesterday. Amazing weather, wonderful people, and even a few two- and four-legged friends along the way! ☀️🍷🫒🐾

Yesterday in Radda, the last grapes had already been picked, while over at Capannelle in Gaiole they were still busy harvesting. 🍇

After what has been a challenging harvest, we’re finally getting to the tail end of it which also means we get to enjoy the vintners’ company once again! 🍷

We so enjoyed spending time with Alyson @podere.capaccia and Piero @fattoriapoggerino, tasting some great wines with a lovely little group from Atlanta.

And they brought a Polaroid camera and took the cutest photos throughout the day.

I’m totally getting one. 📸❤️

One of those beautiful September days in Chianti Classico. Harvest still happening in one place, finished just down the road, and winemakers finally having a little more time to sit, pour a glass and talk wine with us. by @grapetours

A very special ending to yet another fantastic lunch at Dario Cecchini’s in Panzano yesterday! 🇮🇹🍷🥩
Our guests had bought a few things from Dario’s gift shop and were really hoping he might sign them. But Dario was nowhere to be found…
Until, just as we were leaving Panzano, we heard a Vespa coming our way. 🛵
Dario had heard we were looking for him, jumped on his Vespa, and came to find us himself!
Purchases signed, guests delighted, and probably the most perfectly Panzano ending to our day. ❤️
You just never quite know what’s going to happen on a Grape Tours day in Tuscany! 🍇

Harvest is in full swing in San Gimignano! 🍇🍷

We visited two very different wineries, but there was one thing they definitely had in common: about half of the grapes are already inside the cellar!

Which means the vineyards are slowly emptying, while the cellars are filling up, tanks bubbling away, fermentations happening, wonderful smells in the air, and winemakers with plenty to keep an eye on.
And yes… even during harvest, when there’s lots going on and perhaps we should stay out of the way, we always have to peek into the cellar. 👀🍷

Because this is one of the most exciting times of the year to visit a winery: you’re not just tasting the finished wine. You’re also watching the next vintage being born.

1️⃣ The people - and of course the dogs 🐕
2️⃣ The small estates where you actually meet the families behind the wine.
3️⃣ The wines… obviously 🍷🙄
4️⃣ The views that are some of the most breathtaking I’ve ever seen.
5️⃣ And about 547 other things I could happily go on and on about…

I’ve lived in Tuscany for a long time, and Chianti Classico still gets me. Every single time. ❤️

Today was the perfect day for harvest… 🍇 but apparently, also the perfect day to get engaged for these two lovely humans 💍

On our Proposal Wine Tour in Tuscany, this beautiful couple from the US found themselves surrounded by rows of Sangiovese grapes in the heart of the Tuscan countryside… when one very important question was asked.

And she said YES! 🥂❤️

All the while, our incredible photographer Eva was hiding nearby, capturing the whole moment. 📸
I absolutely cannot wait to see how the photos turned out!

Wine, Tuscany, Sangiovese and a proposal… some moments are simply made for remembering. ❤️🍷
