🇮🇹 I wrapped up September with a solo trip in Florence and a day trip to Tuscany. Florence was amazing learning to make pasta 🍝 , visiting the Duomo and other iconic sites and of course visiting a spritz window 🍹!

One of our favourite days in Florence. A Tuscan wine tour has been on our bucket list for so long, this was such a dream🥹 #florence #tuscany #tuscanwinetour #tuscany #winery

🍇 Harvest morning at Campo Sasso!
Pierre, Julian & Oliver (with Frisbee supervising, of course 🐾) were up early to harvest the grapes from our little vineyard of just 500 vines.
But this isn’t quite a conventional vineyard. Our vines grow agroforestry-style, woven between olive trees and fruit trees, sharing the land rather than taking it over.
Everything is done on a tiny, hands-on scale: grapes picked by hand in the cool of the early morning, brought straight in and gently pressed in the basket press.
And then? The wine begins its slow transformation in perhaps the most Campo Sasso place imaginable… our cheese cellar. 🧀🍷
From 500 vines, a family, a dog, a basket press and a cellar full of cheese.

It doesn’t get much more homemade than this!

One of our most favorite and beloved wine tours ever ❤️

Chianti hills under our feet. Clemente as our guide. Italy in our soul, our breath, our glass.

Heaven on earth? We think so.

Missing Tuscany a little extra this Wine Wednesday 🇮🇹

In my defense, they kept pouring excellent wine 🍷🤷🏼‍♀️

Which wine region is on your travel bucket list?

If you’re visiting Tuscany, there are plenty of ways to see the countryside.

You can explore on your own. You can spend your days wandering through the villages. Or you can spend a day being guided through the vineyards, wineries, and backroads that make this region so special.

That’s exactly what we did with @grapetours .

This experience felt like an introduction to Tuscany through the people who live and work there. We visited local wineries, learned about the history behind the wines, enjoyed incredible food, and spent the day taking in the landscapes that have become synonymous with this part of Italy.

Naturally, a Chianti Classico felt like the perfect Wine Wednesday pairing.

Produced primarily from Sangiovese grapes and recognized by its iconic black rooster seal, Chianti Classico is one of Tuscany’s most celebrated wines. Bright cherry notes, earthy character, and vibrant acidity make it the kind of wine that belongs at a long lunch table surrounded by good food and good company.

Cheers, friends! 🍷
