Thank you @wollconmusic for having us along for your winter camp program. We had a wonderful day workshop chamber music skills with the students which culminated in a concert led by the students. Supported by Australian Art Council grants, we look forward for returning over the next 18 months to provide concerts and music education to regional NSW.

We were also fortunate to give a concert afterwards which features some of our favourite Reed quintet works as well as the world premiere of Richard Percival’ ‘Art Deco Suite’.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Henri Selmer Paris Masterclass in Sydney last night.

It was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout and so many passionate musicians gathered for what proved to be an informative, inspiring, and enjoyable evening.

A special thank you to Angelique Planchard from Henri Selmer Paris, together with her Asia Pacific colleague and Area Manager, Lauriane Alain, for sharing their extensive knowledge and insights into the world of Selmer craftsmanship and performance.

We would also like to acknowledge Selmer Ambassadors Dr Nathan Henshaw and John Lewis, Principal Bass Clarinet of Opera Australia, for generously sharing their expertise and experience with attendees.

And to the fearless performers who stepped forward to play for us all — bravo and well done!

A highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Selmer Paris Factory Quiz, with some excellent prizes awarded. Congratulations to all the winners!

Equally exciting was the opportunity for guests to explore and trial a wide range of Selmer Paris clarinets and saxophones, along with mouthpieces and ligatures. Attendees were able to experience firsthand the quality and craftsmanship that have made Selmer one of the world’s most respected musical instrument makers.

If you missed the event, don’t worry! The good news is that the outstanding range of Selmer Paris instruments and accessories is available right here at Sax & Woodwind…and Brass.

Whether you’re searching for the perfect mouthpiece setup or the instrument you’ve always dreamed of owning, our specialist team would be delighted to arrange a personal consultation and help guide you through the selection process.

Contact us anytime — we’re here to help you find your perfect setup.
