Officially a licensed cosmetologist 🫶🏾😭 I’m so excited for what’s to come for me and my business @desireherco I started as a braider and was braiding for only $60-$100 a head in Killeen Texas, then moved on to a custom wig maker and that did so well I was able to take care of myself well enough to have moved to Houston and become a hairstylist by “accident” I say that because I was blessed to stay booked with clients and realized that I was really good at my job and wanted to get certified and I always aspire to be the best at everything I do💕 Being from St Louis who would’ve known I’d be here today 😭, I’ve only been in business for 4 years going on 5 and I can’t wait for you all to see all the hard work pay off 🙌🏾

Thank you to everyone whose always supported me no matter what it doesn’t go unnoticed! Especially my returning clients and customers I love y’all dearly cause y’all stuck it out with me 😅

At 27 years old, I became a homeowner.

Honestly, I never saw myself owning a home this young, especially as a single homeowner. Not because I doubted myself, but because I didn’t think it would happen this quickly.

The process was exciting, stressful, overwhelming, and rewarding all at the same time. There were moments when everything felt like it was moving so fast, and moments where I wondered if everything would come together the way it was supposed to.

But it did.

This house represents so much more than a set of keys. It represents growth, discipline, faith, healing, and believing in myself enough to build the life I wanted.

As a veteran, business owner, student, trainer, and stylist, I’ve spent years pouring into everyone else while also trying to build something for myself. Walking into my own home reminded me that all of that hard work was worth it.

Now it’s time to turn this house into a home.

If you’re saving, rebuilding, planning, or wondering when your moment will come, keep going. You don’t have to have everything figured out. Sometimes God moves faster than you expect.
