Throughout the year, Frost Preparatory Program students share their music with residents of nursing homes across our
community. These photos capture moments from our concerts—opportunities to connect, share joy, and spend meaningful time together through music.

For our young musicians, each visit is also a lesson in the heart of performing: the people we play for, the connections we make, and the kindness we can share.

Full circle moment. In 2017, Paul attended his first music camp at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. In 2026, he will be a freshman in their keyboard performance program.

So proud of all his hard work to get here. It has been a long journey and a really long year of applications, essays, more essays, many auditions at amazing programs across the country (accepted to almost all), waiting, more waiting, appealing, and deciding. The hardest part, by far, was making a choice. It was a very emotional experience for the whole family.

He is where he needs to be. We are very excited for all the many wonderful and growth-filled experiences that await him.

We are also very thankful to every professor he met along the way who had faith in his skills and potential and gave him encouragement and insight. It is an amazing community of generous, talented, and hard-working people that he is tremendously lucky to be a part of. by @inesapiano

2026 Frost Summer Experience – Applications Open! ☀️🌴

Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Frost Summer Experience, and we encourage young musicians in grades 2–12 to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to spend part of their summer making music at the University of Miami’s renowned Frost School of Music.

Students can choose from a wide range of engaging programs designed to match different musical interests and experience levels, including: Youth Music Camp, Orchestra and Chamber Intensive, Music Production, Popular Music Experience, Vocal Jazz Intensive, Instrumental Jazz Intensive, and Choral/Classical Voice.

Session Dates
Music Day Camp: June 22 – July 3, 2026
All other programs: July 6 – 17, 2026

Participants will work closely with Frost School of Music faculty and staff while developing their musical skills in a fun and inspiring environment. Whether students are just starting out or looking to take their playing or singing to the next level, there is a program designed for them.

Apply soon—spaces are limited, and programs fill quickly.
Applications will be accepted until May 30, 2026, or until programs reach capacity.

After auditions were complete, they flew to Miami from Boston last night for Paul’s 13th and final Federation evaluation and the President’s Cup🤞 🎹 🎶 🏆. Now time for celebratory dim sum and a Brightline trip home. by @inesapiano
