My thoughts as a Monday Morning Quarterback👇

@destinationtrailraces did the right thing. Pulling resources in this way leaves less resources all around. Not only would this affect Bridger Jack athletes, it would affect everyone racing.

Have to feel for @aaronkubala and @ashkickn . Leading the race, going for Triple Crown Records…unfortunately this is the brutality of the sport.

@brady.mcdonald84 was on the ground and has raced this before- follow him for some inside looks.

Shoutout to everyone out in MOAB. They kept each other safe and still showed tremendous grit and endurance.

Fuel my 50k!

On this episode of Fuel My Runs, I’m live on the trail testing products at the @kodiak_ultramarathons 50k!

Gels have always been an issue for me, until I connected with the new kids on the block: @deeplantsport

They feature gels made from rice, and banana peel, with hints of mint for a smooth stomach feel.

They also have my new favorite electrolyte shots in the game- which also have some carbs to fuel your run.

When my legs got tired or I felt a cramp coming on, @deeplantsport products really helped get me through.

What does it mean to Stay Weird?

Well if you’re me, it means picking random foods to try before runs, and starting a series about it called “Fuel my Runs”.

And if you’re @nkornely_ , it means starting a company (@_stayweird_co ) and running 100 miles unsanctioned, for fun, to raise awareness and money to fight Alzheimer’s.

So, if these 🍪 don’t settle well on this run, at least I know I’m not the only one Staying Weird.
