Running a red light might save a few seconds, but it can change someone’s life forever. 🚦😳

Phoenix has been ranked among the deadliest cities in the country for red-light-running crashes, while Arizona sees thousands of crashes involving drivers who ignore traffic signals every year.

That’s thousands of accidents that could potentially be avoided if drivers simply waited for the light to turn green.

Have you noticed how often people run red lights in Arizona? 👀

If you’re ever injured in an accident that wasn’t your fault, call @lernerandrowe at 977-1900.

An 80-year-old Scottsdale man accused of shooting a 21-year-old door-to-door salesman in the back is now claiming SELF-DEFENSE — and his attorney says there’s more to the story. 👀

Patrick McBride’s lawyer claims Juan Hoffman was previously told by Scottsdale police to leave another gated community and later entered McBride’s neighborhood despite a No Trespassing sign.

According to the defense, Hoffman approached McBride aggressively on a Segway while holding an unknown object. The attorney claims McBride feared he was about to be struck and that his gun accidentally discharged when the two made contact.

But Hoffman tells a different story. He says he was turning away after seeing McBride pull a gun when he was shot in the lower back.

Police reports also revealed McBride had a spent shell casing in his pocket, which he reportedly claimed he picked up to preserve evidence.

Hoffman remains unable to walk, and it’s unclear whether he’ll regain that ability.

McBride has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault and disorderly conduct involving a weapon and is out on $150,000 bond.

Arizona, does this new explanation change your opinion, or does shooting someone in the back say enough? 👇

🚨 PHOENIX, AZ — A 3RD-GRADE TEACHER IS FACING FEDERAL CHILD EXPLOITATION CHARGES.

Gabriel Chacon, 32, a teacher at Encanto Elementary School, is accused of sharing child sexual abuse material in an encrypted online chat.

According to federal court documents, an undercover officer in Australia encountered a user who allegedly talked about being alone in his classroom after school before sharing disturbing videos involving children.

Investigators traced the account to Chacon, and federal authorities say he later admitted to saving and distributing the material.

Chacon reportedly denied physically harming children or involving students at his school.

The Osborn School District says law enforcement has found no information indicating students were involved. Chacon has been placed on administrative leave, with his access to school buildings and technology restricted.

He faces two federal charges. The investigation remains ongoing, and the allegations have not resulted in a conviction.

Parents, what are your thoughts on this?

SCOTTSDALE PARTIES GETTING OUT OF HAND 😳🔫

More than 40 shots in about 10 seconds. That’s what neighbors say they heard after a party at a short-term rental in south Scottsdale turned into gunfire early Sunday around 3:30 AM.

Police say bullets struck multiple nearby homes, including one where a baby was sleeping just feet from where a bullet hit above a window.

Neighbors claim about 25 people ran from the property as officers arrived. Residents say they’ve already dealt with loud parties and disturbances at the rental before this happened.

Nobody was reported injured, and no arrests had been announced. Police are still investigating.

Now neighbors want the rental’s license pulled.

Imagine paying Scottsdale prices just to have somebody else’s weekend Airbnb party turn your street into a shooting scene. 💀

Should Scottsdale start shutting down short-term rentals that keep causing problems? 👇

😭❤️ NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES… SOME ARE STILL IN PRESCHOOL.

A 4-year-old girl from Glendale, Arizona, is being called a real-life hero after helping save her grandma’s life not once, but TWICE.

Little Alice Ogle first jumped into action when her grandma suddenly passed out and hit her head. She woke up her grandpa, helping get emergency responders to the house.

Doctors later discovered her grandma had THREE brain aneurysms. 😳

Then, just weeks later, grandma collapsed AGAIN.

This time, Alice grabbed her grandma’s phone, unlocked it, and called her grandpa to tell him grandma wouldn’t wake up. That call helped get a neighbor inside to call 911.

Her grandma is now recovering and says her little granddaughter is her hero. 🥹

Only 4 years old and already saved grandma TWICE.

ARIZONA, SHOW THIS LITTLE GIRL SOME LOVE! ❤️👏

GILBERT, AZ 🎻😭 — NOT THE ORCHESTRA MONEY GOING TOWARD TATTOOS AND DUTCH BROS.

A former Gilbert High School Orchestra Booster Club treasurer is facing a felony theft charge after investigators accused her of using more than $5,000 in club funds for personal expenses.

Allie Wolf, 45, also known as Allison Marie Coons, allegedly used booster money for ATM withdrawals, Venmo transactions, coffee purchases and a $140 tattoo transaction.

According to police records reported by The Arizona Republic, Wolf said the tattoo charge was an honest mistake because she thought she used her personal debit card. She also told investigators some cash withdrawals were used for medical bills and debts.

The whole situation reportedly came to light when the incoming treasurer reviewed the books and noticed questionable transactions. Police also identified discrepancies involving money collected for an orchestra trip to Disneyland. 😳

Wolf was charged with one count of Class 3 felony theft on September 30. Her initial court appearance was scheduled for October 30.

Gilbert Public Schools says booster clubs operate independently of the district. The allegations have not been proven in court.

💬 SHOULD SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUBS BE REQUIRED TO HAVE TWO PEOPLE APPROVE EVERY PURCHASE?
