🚨 ARIZONA STATE CAPITOL EVACUATED AFTER MYSTERIOUS WHITE POWDER FOUND IN ENVELOPE

An envelope containing an unidentified white powder triggered an evacuation at Arizona’s State Capitol Executive Tower in Phoenix on Thursday, October 15, prompting a hazardous materials response and a joint investigation involving the FBI and Arizona Department of Public Safety.

According to Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, an employee opened the envelope inside the Department of State’s offices before emergency protocols were activated.

Officials immediately isolated the substance and potentially exposed employees, evacuated other workers and restricted access to the affected floor.

Fontes described the incident as a “targeted threat” and said his office would continue carrying out its responsibilities despite the intimidation.

The Executive Tower houses several of Arizona’s highest-ranking government offices, including those of Governor Katie Hobbs and Secretary of State Adrian Fontes.

DPS confirmed that no injuries had been reported as investigators worked to determine what the powder contained, who sent the envelope and whom it was intended to reach.

But Arizona isn’t the only state dealing with suspicious mail.

Federal authorities are also investigating a series of suspicious letters sent to election offices and congressional offices nationwide. Similar mailings have disrupted government operations in Louisiana and Oklahoma, while suspicious packages have been reported or intercepted in several other states.

In Wisconsin, testing determined that a powder received by election officials was not hazardous. However, authorities have not yet established whether the Arizona incident is connected to the broader investigation.

With the November 3 election approaching, federal and state investigators are continuing their work to identify whoever is responsible.

As of Thursday evening, the Arizona substance had not been publicly identified, and no injuries were reported.

PHOENIX, THIS ONE MIGHT ACTUALLY MAKE YOU CRY. 🥹❤️

A Phoenix dad was just trying to make it to his little girl’s 2nd birthday when scammers pretending to be DoorDash wiped out hundreds of dollars from his paycheck.

Rent was paid. Car payment was made. But now he had nothing left, and his daughter’s birthday was the very next day. 💔

That’s when Phoenix Police Officers Alessandro Figuccio and Tanner Schnieder showed up.

After hearing the father’s story and seeing how devastated he was, the two officers decided taking a police report wasn’t enough.

They went to the store, grabbed clothes, toys, and even a little pink bicycle for his daughter. 🚲🎁

AND PAID FOR EVERYTHING OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS.

When they returned with the gifts, the dad broke down in tears.

The whole emotional moment was caught on bodycam. 🥹

Sometimes being there for your community goes way beyond the badge.

MAJOR RESPECT to these two officers. 👏❤️

PHOENIX, CAN WE SHOW THESE GUYS SOME LOVE IN THE COMMENTS?! 👇

COX IS NOW SPECTRUM… BUT PHOENIX WANTS TO KNOW IF THE BILL IS FINALLY GONNA GET CHEAPER. 👀💸

Following a $34 billion merger completed in August, former Cox customers across Arizona are beginning to receive their first Spectrum-branded bills.

Spectrum says existing plans, prices, equipment and billing cycles will stay the same unless customers choose to make changes. The company also offers plans without data caps and mobile promotions for qualifying customers.

So basically, a $34 BILLION deal happened and your bill might still be exactly the same. 😭

📲 PHOENIX, HOW MUCH ARE YOU PAYING FOR INTERNET RIGHT NOW? And are you happy with the service?

An 80-year-old Scottsdale man accused of shooting a 21-year-old door-to-door salesman in the back is now claiming SELF-DEFENSE — and his attorney says there’s more to the story. 👀

Patrick McBride’s lawyer claims Juan Hoffman was previously told by Scottsdale police to leave another gated community and later entered McBride’s neighborhood despite a No Trespassing sign.

According to the defense, Hoffman approached McBride aggressively on a Segway while holding an unknown object. The attorney claims McBride feared he was about to be struck and that his gun accidentally discharged when the two made contact.

But Hoffman tells a different story. He says he was turning away after seeing McBride pull a gun when he was shot in the lower back.

Police reports also revealed McBride had a spent shell casing in his pocket, which he reportedly claimed he picked up to preserve evidence.

Hoffman remains unable to walk, and it’s unclear whether he’ll regain that ability.

McBride has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault and disorderly conduct involving a weapon and is out on $150,000 bond.

Arizona, does this new explanation change your opinion, or does shooting someone in the back say enough? 👇

🚨 PHOENIX, AZ — A 3RD-GRADE TEACHER IS FACING FEDERAL CHILD EXPLOITATION CHARGES.

Gabriel Chacon, 32, a teacher at Encanto Elementary School, is accused of sharing child sexual abuse material in an encrypted online chat.

According to federal court documents, an undercover officer in Australia encountered a user who allegedly talked about being alone in his classroom after school before sharing disturbing videos involving children.

Investigators traced the account to Chacon, and federal authorities say he later admitted to saving and distributing the material.

Chacon reportedly denied physically harming children or involving students at his school.

The Osborn School District says law enforcement has found no information indicating students were involved. Chacon has been placed on administrative leave, with his access to school buildings and technology restricted.

He faces two federal charges. The investigation remains ongoing, and the allegations have not resulted in a conviction.

Parents, what are your thoughts on this?

SCOTTSDALE PARTIES GETTING OUT OF HAND 😳🔫

More than 40 shots in about 10 seconds. That’s what neighbors say they heard after a party at a short-term rental in south Scottsdale turned into gunfire early Sunday around 3:30 AM.

Police say bullets struck multiple nearby homes, including one where a baby was sleeping just feet from where a bullet hit above a window.

Neighbors claim about 25 people ran from the property as officers arrived. Residents say they’ve already dealt with loud parties and disturbances at the rental before this happened.

Nobody was reported injured, and no arrests had been announced. Police are still investigating.

Now neighbors want the rental’s license pulled.

Imagine paying Scottsdale prices just to have somebody else’s weekend Airbnb party turn your street into a shooting scene. 💀

Should Scottsdale start shutting down short-term rentals that keep causing problems? 👇

😭 ARIZONA WEATHER REALLY SAID EVERYBODY GO HOME.

What was supposed to be a weekend of beer, music, and good vibes turned into people hiding under a bridge after storms rolled through Tempe.

On Saturday, October 10, organizers at Four Peaks Oktoberfest had to pause the event TWICE because of lightning and strong winds.

The first interruption lasted roughly 30–45 minutes, with another 30-minute pause later that afternoon.

And Tempe wasn’t the only place dealing with the weather. Phoenix Pride celebrations were also affected, with the Supernova event moving a DJ set indoors.

Imagine showing up for Oktoberfest and ending up at an unofficial under-the-bridge concert. 😭💀

🌩️ WERE YOU OUTSIDE WHEN THE STORMS HIT?

100 MORE CHARGES?! 😳🚨

The Corona del Sol High School camera scandal in Tempe just took another disturbing turn.

Police are recommending 100 additional criminal counts against Antony Cruz, 28, a former school district surveillance officer accused of downloading security camera footage of girls ages 13–15 changing clothes.

The recommended counts include 98 for voyeurism and 2 for bestiality. Prosecutors are still reviewing them, and those additional charges have NOT been filed.

Cruz was arrested in August and has pleaded not guilty to his existing charges.

And here’s the part raising even more questions: The girls were changing in a dance room that had a security camera installed back in 2024. The school district says that room was NEVER approved as a changing area.

The district is investigating how that happened.

How do students end up changing in a room with an active camera in the first place?!

Who was supposed to be making sure their privacy was protected? 👀
