Time for another artist intro, this time from our prop design department! Meet @iva.artnimation (and yes for those unaware, black dogs are indeed a type of cryptid from British and Irish folklore 👀)

‘Hello, I’m Iva, a UK based designer and animator and currently part of the prop and background design team for New Earth! I love creating a moody and atmospheric art the most and I’m a sucker for good lighting. When I’m not drawing, you can catch me reading yet another fantasy book or hanging out with friends!’

I’m delighted to announce that I’m working on this new indie 2D animated series pilot, NEW EARTH, as a background layout artist We’re about to move onto the animation phase of production and are fundraising to bring this project to life! You can find it in the official account’s bio @newearthanimation which you can also follow for updates! It’s a massive project with over 150 artists involved currently so if you’re a fan of 2D animation, post-apocalyptic scenery, retro sci-fi and mystery, this series is made for you! A labour of love of over 6 years, the series follows a ragtag group of 5 that end up having to work together to uncover the mysterious series of events that follow the disappearance of a promising scientist...

Support this group of independent creators in bringing you some amazing, new entertainment by sharing and considering donating (and getting some lovely perks in return) to the project!

Thank you for your contribution 👁️

Woohooo, another fanart, this time of the best film ever (and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise). It sure brings me back in time (hehe), I couldn’t even read yet when I saw it for the first time and had to make my mom read the subtitles to me ahaha (dub for live action was still not popular back in the early 2000s in my end of the world) 🕰️🚙🤩

Well, now that season 2 of PJO is over, I had to do a lil fanart of Annabeth and Percy-I'll-burn-Olympus-for-you-Jackson. As a die-hard fan of the books, I should say I was pretty happy with what they did with the latest season.

Also, on another note, I've been drawing a lot of fanart lately, and (after annoying my friends with talks about it) my goal is to try and post more of that and see if it sticks 😬.

Credits to @/hunnismoker for the watermark tutorial, might change the look of it at some point, but that shall do for now

A little late with the Halloween posting, but here's a little spooky painting - black magic best done late at night ✨️🌙
This one was supposed to have a much simpler rendering, of course I got carried away as usual but I had lots of fun.

✨️ Woohoooo ✨️ I'll be at the Annecy Festival this year for the first time (finally!!!).
I'm so excited to be part of the cool kids gang now, to see old friends, and to meet new ones! Sooo if you catch a glimpse of me, come say hi, I've also made some stickers to swap with fellow artists!!! ✨️🤩✨️

This time last week some of the Scribbleroom team were just getting started on this years Cardiff Quickdraw! It was a roller coaster of emotion, but they managed this lovely little short piece by the end of the 48 hours. We hope you enjoy it as much as the team did making it!

Due to popular demand (a.k.a. being asked by three of my friends) I’m posting a lil something I finished a while ago. Clouds is one of my favourite things to paint so I had lots of fun with this one.
I must say I enjoy being in my VisDev era 💅

Happy Halloween!!! 🎃💀👻 Finally got to paint a lil spooky painting! Trying to figure out multiple light sources and reflections sure was a nice brain exercise! Also I’ve been using the Multiply layer a lot recently and omg I just love it so much! .

To celebrate another Wednesday evening, here’s my lil fan art painting of Wednesday Addams. ✨ Needless to say I loved the show way too much and I just had to paint something from this iconic scene in particular.
