i enjoy every aspect of the wardrobing process and feel especially lucky to have worked with many of my clients since before starting my own business over a decade ago. but one of my favorite services that i offer is helping loved ones of my clients find gifts for them and this one was particularly special because she has been my biggest cheerleader since the beginning. i still remember the first day that we met in 2012 and cherish every memory since. of course i sent a few gift options to her husband, but these earrings to me (and him and the kids!) encompass so much of her personality. they’re beautiful, special, interesting, light and above all, fun. and that’s really what i wardrobe for—to outfit clients in pieces that tell you all about their personality without having to say a word.
there’s only one rule in fashion and that is: to dress for yourself.
happy 50th birthday to a rare gem. this pair was love at first sight-just like meeting you.

my heart still feels so full from jess and i’s 20th high school reunion last saturday. @coxhs_classof2006 had the experience every kid dreams of having and two decades later the feeling was amplified. pharrell summed it up best when he said that there must be something in the water growing up in virginia beach; we’re so lucky.
it felt really, really special to have curated the music for our big night and the biggest of thank yous to @chavezsayz for all of her care and time mixing it for us. each of the bars in the image here is a song—i could never.
special shoutout to the reunion committee—you all should feel immensely proud of the memories you helped create. i know it was an overwhelming and exhausting event to plan, but all of that love you put into it undoubtedly set the tone.

ya’ll. life be lifing a little bit more than usual sometimes! i have to reschedule the pop-up to sunday, november 15th. i know it’s a ways away, but it’ll be worth the wait i promise.

deciding to have a pop-up during fashion week is giving me major ‘09 fno vibes but i’m not mad about it. the first one was way too much fun not to have another! i’ll be comin’ in hot with a new batch of vintage surf, skate and beach wear to get you ready for the off-season.

third morning in two weeks where i woke up early (which has surprisingly been v v tough for me since i became a mom), went on my run and went surfing.
right now i think i’ll only be able to manage surfing a couple days a week schedule-wise but i need to figure out how to make this an every day thing stat. by @jennrosewhite
