This jacket is 30 years old, and it made me cry. 🥹

It was a gift my dad bought the year after my mom passed, and I’ve been waiting to find a way to wear it again.

Jen promised me we’d find a way, and today was the day 🤍

Well, tonight summer officially bows out, and I just sat here rewatching all of this with the biggest smile on my face. Pool days that turned into dance parties. Late nights with my favorite people. Slow mornings, loud laughter, and a little boy who made every ordinary day feel like pure magic.

Summer didn’t just fly by, it poured into me. It reminded me that joy doesn’t have to be grand to be real. Sometimes it’s a backyard, a good song, and everybody you love in one place.

I’m saying goodbye to this season so full and so grateful, I thank God for every moment of it. Now I’m stepping into the next one with open hands and an open heart 🍂

I used to go to NYFW back in the day when it was at Bryant Park. It was classic early 2000s, fashion week was basically the first Devil Wears Prada movie in real life. I felt like I was at my peak. If only I could tell *that* Tamsen she’d be at fashion week again at 55 years old! It’s still such a rush. I had the most incredible time at @altuzarra, @josephaltuzarra you are a true artist!!

20 years later and somehow it still felt like home. 🥹❤️

To my Frank W. Cox High School Class of ’06, I love us. Truly. Seeing everyone again, hearing about the lives you’ve built, the families you’ve created, the things you’ve overcome, and the people you’ve become filled my heart in a way I didn’t expect.

And a very special shoutout to my girl @kristinpaigeva my very first friend from elementary school. More than 30 years of friendship is WILD, and I’m so grateful for every chapter. Thank you for letting me use your video in the beginning too, because that class shirt moment was too perfect not to include 👌🏾🤭

To every classmate who traveled, showed up, hugged, laughed, danced, reminisced, and made the night what it was, thank you. What a gift to be reminded that sometimes going back shows you just how far you’ve come. fam bam, it was a tough decision, but i am going to have to push back the next pop-up two months. if you were planning to go, still obviously absolutely definitely go to NARRO if you’ve never been (and if you have!)—you’ll undoubtedly find your new favorite forever pieces like myself and my clients so often (by often, i mean every single time) do there.
i’ll have the goods in time for our surf retreats to costa rica over the holidays.
