Absolutely stunned, honoured, and stunned again that Tiny Hercules book 1 has been shortlisted for Best Audiobook: Children's at @thespeakies (a.k.a. the British Audio Awards)!

How do you adapt a comic into an audiobook? Well, that's a fascinating question - and working that out for ourselves has been a wonderful journey of discovery. We're so proud of the finished audiobook, which turned out so much better than we could have hoped for - and, dare we say, pushed the limits of what's possible when turning sequential art into audio.

Full credit to the incredible @tombabbage94 for his stellar performance, and for bringing our characters to life with such aplomb. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and an honour watching you work. We promise to write fewer aquatic raps for future instalments (maybe).

Best of luck to all the nominees (we're in excellent company) and thank you to @macmillankidsuk for this amazing opportunity.

What an incredible ride - and what an amazing selection of titles. We're in incredible company. What a ride! The Tiny Hercules book 1 promotional tour is now complete - and we couldn't have done it without a truly amazing team behind us. A massive thank you to Clare and everyone at @macmillankidsuk for taking such good care of us as we travelled from Crickhowell to Catterick, from Bath to London and back again, talking all things Tiny Hercules.

But of course, the real stars were the amazing kids and teachers we met along the way. Thank you for welcoming us into your schools and hearts, and letting us natter on about the weird and wonderful medium of comics. Full credit to the incredible booksellers who made this possible: providing the books and positive feelings, and looking after us at every turn.

📖 It's the Cheltenham Literature Festival - the closest, most awesome literary event we know of!

Yes, indeed: after years of attendance, both as a punter and occasional indie voice, it's a dream and an honour to make our first official appearance at our local book festival. Thank you to everyone who packed out today's comic-making workshops. From a jelly in a jelly with a jelly on the side, to a wolf with spikey hair that looks just like Queen Victoria, it was a delight seeing your weird, wonderful and amazing ideas come to life. Thank you for listening to all our Tiny Hercules talk and diving into our draw-along with such aplomb.

We hope you feel empowered to bring your own comics to life and that you enjoy reading Tiny Hercules! We look forward to meeting a new crowd of budding comic creators when we return on Sunday!

Thank you to the @cheltfestivals team for welcoming us into the hallowed halls of the writer's room and for treating us so well. It's hard work keeping this show of this size going, but you're doing a fantastic job.

⚡ A big thank you to Helen and Dave at @wonderlandbookshop for hosting us on the last day of our LEGENDARY Tiny Hercules book tour. It's been two manic, exciting weeks of talks and workshops, covering Liverpool, Frodsham, Wakefield, Leeds, Cheltenham, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Pinner and Retford, and as tired as we are, we've had a fantastic time.

Massive thanks to the kids and teachers who've welcomed us into their schools and shown such love for Tiny Hercules. We're also so grateful to all the dedicated booksellers who've treated us so well and been such amazing champions of our tiny, mighty hero. Roll on the next tour!

📖 In the meantime, work on Tiny Hercules book 3 continues apace, and we've got a few days to recharge before delivering our comic-making workshops at the Cheltenahm Literature Festival (@cheltfestivals). As Cheltenham boys, it's an honour to appear on stage in our home town. Thank you to everyone for grabbing tickets and making us a SOLD OUT SHOW. We're so excited to meet you.

A huge thankyou to comic book creators Jon Lock and Nich Angell for one of our biggest events ever! Local schools absolutely loved hearing all about their Tiny Hercules series, comics, creativity and sharing art with friends.

Their wonderful presentation had teachers and students laughing and inspired to draw themselves.

He’s brave! He’s strong! He’s the size of a jam jar! He’s Tiny Hercules, the world’s tiniest hero – and he’s winning his way back to Tiny Olympus, one legendary deed at a time!

Tiny Hercules has been banished to Earth as a punishment for ruining Tiny Zeus's bodacious party. To get home he must complete twelve legendary tasks but it isn't going to be easy – even for a demigod. Crash landing in the peaceful town of Chutney-on-Toast, Tiny Hercules soon spots his first task: defeating a lion! (or maybe it's a cat!)

📚 Ready. Set. Read! 📚

We’ve been a little obsessed with Tiny Hercules in my classroom…

When I brought out this awesome word search AND the chance for them to design their own Monster Crew member, I may have won the title of Best Teacher for the day!

We had the best time creating our crew members and the conversation spilled into break, lunch and beyond.

Today was just the best day!!! Laura had the absolute pleasure of doing 2 school events with @jonlockcomics and @nichangell to promote the second book in their hilarious graphic series, Tiny Hercules. These two guys are as genuine as it gets, and this series deserves to be shouted from the rooftops! If you have graphic novel fans at home, who love books like Dog Man, Bunny Vs Monkey and Investigators, then they will LOVE this new series!
Seeing authors and illustrators inspire young kids like these two did today never gets old, and is a real perk to doing our job. A big thanks goes to Jerry Clay Academy and Wrenthorpe Academy for hosting us today. We hope you have some very inspired young readers! by @jonlockcomics

Tiny Hercules is back on tour, and @nichangell and I are having the time of our lives! A massive thank to you to the kids and teachers who've invited us into their schools to talk all things comics and Tiny Hercules - and an equally massive thank you to the wonderful booksellers who've made this possible.

It's Day 3, and so far we've visited six schools, delivered eight presentations and one workshop, and caught more taxis and trains than we can keep track of. Colossal, heartfelt thanks to:
