This weekend we reached for the stars… and then we interviewed the people genuinely trying to get us to them. 🚀✨

A few frames from an absolutely stellar weekend with @spacerocksofficial at @europeanspaceagency’s ESTEC Open Days - talking space exploration, new worlds, the future of the Moon and everything in between with some properly brilliant people.

And, naturally, once the cameras stopped rolling… we came back down to Earth with a beer by the water in Leiden.

Meet the newest member of the team: Wes.

It’s hard work being a mascot. Wes had been enjoying his retirement sipping Bloody Marys on the banks of the River Styx, when the phone rang. A little surly at this interruption to his lo-fi beats, Wes looks at the caller. It’s @dawes.dan. ‘Oh no’, thinks Wes, ‘not this guy again’.

‘Listen, Dan, it’s gonna take something pretty special to get me out of retirement. I was full of life when I joined @liquidcrimson. They worked me to the bone!’

Then Wes hears about a play set in a haunted underground station, a theatre built over a mothballed Victorian swimming pool, and trigger warnings for violence and adult themes… the stuff that *really* floats his boat.

‘Son-of-a-witch. I’m in.’

Wes joins us until end of Halloween this year when he must take the Necropolis Line back to the Underworld.

A huge skeletal hug goes out to the team at Liquid Crimson for releasing Wes’ well-worn shackles to us. 🖤❤️💀

Hanging out with Rocky aboard a little piece of the ISS ahead of @spacerocksofficial at the ESA Open Days. 🚀🪨

I’ve been around space stuff enough now that you’d think I might start playing it cool. …Absolutely not 😂

I fully expect to spend the entire weekend completely awe-struck, saying “wow” a million times, asking far too many questions and periodically remembering that THEY PUT PEOPLE IN SPACE 🤯

Never getting over it, and proud.

HOW has it been a month already?!

One month ago today, this lot rolled into Bloodstock and HMTXIV officially crossed the finish line.

Three days on the road, 175+ miles from London to Bloodstock, some questionable tan lines, plenty of roadside nonsense and one hell of a group of people to do it with. 🖤🤘🖤

We’ve still got so much from the ride that we haven’t shared yet… so here are a few more hand picked moments.

The cycling might be done, but the fundraising isn’t. We’re still raising money for @teenage_cancer , @childline_official , @savechildrenuk and @nordoffrobbins.
