I was seven years old. The boy’s name was Lloyd. You would think that getting punched in the nose for trying to kiss a girl would have taught Lloyd a thing or two about boundaries. But you would be wrong.
Lloyd continued trying to touch me at school against my wishes. He would corner me in the coat room and try to smell me. He even showed up at my house one night to stand at the end of my driveway and serenade me, deeply embarrassing me in front of my family.
I hated all of it. I asked him repeatedly to stop.

Some grownups thought it was funny and cute. They tried to tell me that I should be flattered.
Fuck that.
I don’t know what happened to Lloyd, but it would not surprise me at all to hear that he turned out to be a stalker who ruined some woman’s life. by @msmarvel070

One of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had since moving to Arizona was witnessing the wild mustangs in their natural habitat along the banks of the Salt River. When I read that the Trump administration has ordered them to be rounded up, killed and sent overseas as food, I was enraged and saddened.
What is the American Southwest without wild mustangs? They’re as much a part of American history as cowboys.

NINETEEN
Nineteen years of love, laughter, adventure, family, fortune and adversity. There’s no one else I’d rather be doing it with.
When we met, I was finished with love. My heart was more skittish than a baby rabbit’s. No sudden moves. Keep your distance. Don’t look at me like that. On our second date, I told you I was never going to marry again. I was done.
It takes a special kind of man to win the trust of a woman who has lost faith in love. But you waited it out. Hung in there. Kept showing up as your true blue self.
Look at us now. Living the dream life we once imagined. Watching our daughters make their own dreams come true. Loving on the grandchildren. What is this life?

Heaven is real, and it’s in Manchester, New Hampshire. This retro roller rink is Remix Manchester and it taps directly into core childhood memories of a certain generation. There are open skates during the week and an adult night (18+) on Wednesdays that I’ll be back for on my next visit. The rink’s freshly waxed wooden floor was an absolute dream to skate on with my new Chuffed skate setup from @bruisedboutique of Nashua. 👀 If this place existed near me, I’d be there every night!
