Wordsmiths in the wild

Here is Page Arizona.
Aptly named. A place where two wandering lovers of words can happily get lost. Long trails. Beautiful independent bookstores. Sublime Italian delis.. enough heart to break a dam.
A well yet to be tapped craving new sensation. We are feeling confident.
Ready to take on anything.

That's where magic happens.

Big thanks to our special guest poet, Jesse Sensibar, for spending some time with us last night in Cottonwood. We’re still thinking about his set, especially a poem entitled “Otherwise Intact.”
If you weren’t there, you missed out on Jesse’s performance, a spontaneous group poem by Roxy, Chris’s new hat, and much more.

Make sure to join us for the October 29 Pendemonium, “Night of the Living Dead Poets 2” — costumes encouraged! #poetry #spokenword #cottonwoodaz

Get ready, poetry people. Pendemonium is proud to bring you Erik (Hostiin) Bitsui as our special guest on Thursday, July 23 at the Queen B Vinyl Café. He is truly one of a kind.

Hostiin (Erik) Bitsui, a Navajo from Blue Gap, Arizona, has an MFA from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Bitsui is the author of Gutter Punk: A Micro Memoir (rinky dink press), and Mosh Pit Etiquette Volume One: Secrets of a 21st Century Navajo Headbanger (Tolsun Books). He lives with his wife and two daughters in Flafstaff, where he is a DJ for a weekly heavy metal radio show on KSZN 101.5 FM. We’re pumped for this show!

Plus readings from your Pendemonium favorites. $5 cover at the door. 6:30 pm. See you there 🤘

Another fun night of poetry in cottonwood last Thursday for @pendemoniumpoetry at @queenbvinylcafe.
In addition to local favorite Roxy Runyan, hosts Chris and Michelle invited an absolutely dynamite performer from back east and friend from Michelle's old slam days who brought down the house, @mr.mack88 promoting his new book. Go take a look on his page. Definitely one of my favorite poet performances I've seen on that stage so far!
I hope some of my pictures do it justice!

Hope to see you all again for the next Pendemonium on July 23rd!
