UNPOPULAR OPINION: Some women aren’t single because good men don’t exist. They’re single because they’ve convinced themselves that all men are the same.

“No man is loyal.”
“All men cheat.”
“They all lie.”
“They’re all emotionally unavailable.”
“Men are only after one thing.”

But let’s challenge that narrative.

1. Your past is not proof of how all men behave.
One man’s betrayal doesn’t define an entire gender.

2. Your ex is not the blueprint.
Stop using one person’s inability to love you properly as the standard for everyone who comes after him.

3. Your beliefs influence what you notice.
When you expect disappointment, you may overlook green flags while constantly searching for red ones.

4. Being guarded is not the same as having standards.
Standards protect your peace. Walls can prevent anyone from getting close enough to earn your trust.

5. Accountability goes both ways.
You can’t keep choosing the same type of partner, ignoring the same red flags, and blame an entire gender for the outcome.

6. Being single is a choice. Being bitter is a different story.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being single. But there is a difference between choosing peace and living in resentment.

7. Not all men are the same. Just like not all women are the same.
There are faithful men, emotionally mature men, ambitious men, men who communicate, and men who genuinely want to build something meaningful.

They exist. But you have to be willing to recognize them.

The real question is: Have you healed enough to recognize a healthy relationship when it shows up?

Because sometimes, the person who hurt you is no longer in your life, but the beliefs they left behind are still running it.

And that deserves a conversation.
