Construction is officially underway on Aura, our fourth tower for Melbourne Square. ⛏️ 🏙️

Over the past decade we’ve helped bring one of Melbourne’s largest mixed-use precincts to life, delivering two Melbourne Square towers and currently constructing a third, BLVD. With Aura now underway, we’re proud to continue our partnership with OSK Property and help realise the next stage of this long-term vision.

The 67-storey tower will deliver 673 residences and extensive amenities, including a pioneering Vertical Wellness Ecosystem that integrates wellness, work, social and relaxation spaces throughout the build.

The groundbreaking ceremony brought together OSK, Roshena Campbell Deputy Lord Mayor of Melbourne and the project team to celebrate the start of construction and recognise the collaboration that has brought the project to this point.

Congratulations to everyone involved. We look forward to delivering another outstanding addition to the Melbourne Square precinct. 👏

Doubling capacity without disrupting operations. 👏 We’ve completed Stage Two of NEXTDC’s P1 Perth data centre in Malaga, on time and on budget.

The project included:
- A new five-storey building with a 1,069 square metre data hall, doubling the IT capacity
- Installation of the largest satellite antenna array in Western Australia on the existing P1 Perth roof
- A refined design to maximise the use of modular construction and offsite prefabrication, enhancing safety and efficiency
- Constructed alongside the existing Stage One facility with zero disruption to live operations
- Sustainable construction practices including an electric crane and low-carbon concrete reducing embodied carbon by 65% compared to traditional mixes.

An outstanding result by the team, marking our fifth data centre delivered for NEXTDC and more than 500MW of IT capacity nationally. #builttooutperform by @multiplexconstruction__au

Building the terminal at @wsiairport was a once-in-a-generation project for many on our team, and with input on design and methodology from the very first stages, we were able to incorporate sustainability principles from the outset to ensure it has a positive environmental impact on future generations too.

The WSI terminal has a 5 Star Green Star Design rating. Highlights include:
- Being the first airport in Australia to have infrastructure capable of powering all ground service equipment with renewable electricity
- Its Solar PV Rooftop System can power the equivalent of around 1,000 homes
- The use of a 55% recycled concrete in the mix during construction, exceeding the standard of 20%

We have supported the installation of the first public MRI machine on the NSW South Coast at the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital 🏗️

Along with a new CT scanner, the new purpose-built facility will offer a range of high-quality services, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the region for essential care.

With the final stages of construction underway, we can’t wait to see this project open to the public next year. by @multiplexconstruction__au

At The Mantaray on the Gold Coast, the Multiplex team has installed 10 prefabricated stainless-steel pools across the project’s rooftop terraces, using an innovative modular approach that streamlines construction and accelerates delivery.

Manufactured off-site in Melbourne and lifted into place using a Liebherr 550 Tower Crane, the pools have enabled works such as secondary slabs and waterproofing to progress sooner than traditional construction methods would allow.

Two of the pools were tiled onsite to reduce weight and meet the crane’s lifting capacity and radius constraints (the heaviest pool was over eight tonnes!), while maintaining the efficiency and benefits of prefabricated solutions.

A new addition to Melbourne’s skyline is officially underway🏗️ We’re proud to mark the start of construction on Atlas, SP Setia’s new 72-storey residential tower in Melbourne’s CBD.

Following the success of the award-winning Sapphire by the Gardens, Atlas brings us together with SP Setia once again to deliver its next major development.

One of the first residential towers to break ground in the Melbourne CBD in recent years, Atlas will deliver more than 850 apartments and world-class resident amenities, anchored by vibrant new pedestrian laneways connecting La Trobe and Little Lonsdale Streets.

Our team will now begin the complex task of transforming a constrained CBD site into Melbourne’s next landmark address.

From the Terminal and Specialty Services package delivered by Multiplex to the Airside and Civil Pavements packages delivered by CPB Contractors and ACCIONA, we take a deep dive into Western Sydney International Airport and the collaboration, innovation and problem-solving driving the delivery of this once-in-a-generation project.

Coordinating thousands of people across multiple contracts and disciplines, the project is a testament to what can be achieved through a one-team approach to delivery – one of the reasons it was recognised as a 2026 Australian Construction Achievement Award finalist.

Match cast cores are helping us deliver safer, faster and more efficiently at NEXTDC S4 Sydney. 💪🏗️

In our latest Behind the Hoarding, Site Engineer Nicole explains this innovative construction method and its benefits.

The match cast cores are manufactured in precise sections off site, transported and assembled on site, improving quality, reducing work at height and accelerating construction by allowing multiple activities to progress simultaneously.

Our Queensland team was the first in the business to use the methodology, with the S4 Sydney team now leveraging their experience for data centre delivery in NSW.

Close collaboration with our subcontractor @lteprecast helped bring the idea to life.

The tower crane is up at Adelaide’s newest purpose-built student accommodation development! 🏗️

The installation marks an important milestone at 275 North Terrace as construction moves into its next phase.

As our fourth project with @journalstudentliving , this development builds on a strong partnership focused on delivering high-quality student accommodation in prime city locations. Following the recent ahead-of-schedule delivery of 100 Franklin Street in Melbourne, the team is applying proven modern methods of construction, including prefabrication elements to accelerate delivery.
