Fifty Fenchurch Street reaches new heights

The biodiverse 38-storey development for @bnppam #alts and Yard Nine has reached a major milestone, with the final concrete pour of the slipform core now complete, taking the structure to its highest point.

Construction continues to progress with the installation of the steel frame and MegaPlanks, a precast composite floor solution that delivers smarter, more sustainable slabs by eliminating the need for traditional metal decking. Manufactured in controlled factory settings, they provide a high-quality exposed soffit finish and consistent floorplates throughout the development.

Breaking ground at 99 City Road! This milestone marks the start of an exciting and highly complex project for @enduranceland and Nan Fung Group.

The scheme will retain two sections of the existing nine-storey building while the central core is demolished. Once separated, the retained structures will become free-standing, supported by an extensive temporary works solution.

The project will stand 36 storeys tall once completed, breathing new life into the surrounding area.

A key early innovation is the creation of a 'launch pad' at ground floor supported by plunge columns. The award-winning @thechanceryrosewood involved the comprehensive restoration and transformation of the Grade II listed former U.S. Embassy.

Surpassing its targeted BREEAM Excellent sustainability rating to achieve Outstanding, it became the first hotel of its nature in the UK to achieve this.

The development delivers 139 luxury hotel rooms, multiple restaurants, flagship retail spaces and a grand ballroom accommodating up to 1,000 guests.

In 2025, our solar farm generated 9,400 MWh of energy, equivalent to powering 3,760 UK households for an entire year.

The final piece of the White City master plan is progressing through its final year of construction.

Television Centre Phase 2 is a 470,000 sq ft residential development located adjacent to the former BBC Television Centre, being delivered for @stanhope_plc and Mitsui Fudosan.

The first of the 347 homes are now fully complete, with fit-out works also continuing across the amenity spaces. This week marked a significant milestone at Vista, with a ceremonial time capsule celebration recognising the completion of @mcgee_group's works and the transition to Multiplex as main contractor, with memorabilia contributed by the project team and wider community.

Designed by @make_architects, Vista will provide 640,000 sq. ft. high‑quality workspace, cultural amenities and new public spaces overlooking the Thames for @mitsubishi_estate_group and @co_re.london.

Built by Multiplex: The Skyline Series. Highlighting the projects that have left a lasting mark on the capital's cityscape.

This spotlight turns to Arbor, a standout addition to the @banksideyards scheme. The first building completed above the historic railway arches, Arbor has helped reconnect the South Bank and Bankside for the first time in more than 150 years.

As part of the UK's first major fossil fuel-free mixed-use development, the fully electric 20-storey building provides over 200,000 sq ft of flexible workspace with retail accommodation.
