We did it!!! A special thank you to everyone who made EVENT 1 a success, including our sponsors @kswiss & @theupstatesound . The cheerful smiles, empowering stories, and laughter made all of the hard work beyond worth it. The opportunity to ignite healing journeys in the minds of youth and bring awareness to a rarely discussed topic in Black and brown communities…MENTAL HEALTH. Don’t conform to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

S.U.B.’s, we love you and can’t wait for EVENT 2. ♥️

If you read our last update letter, I always wanted Miami to be the second city The Upstate Sound plants roots in. It may be arrogant, but I wanted to prove we didn’t need NY or LA to make moves in the music biz. Especially with so many industries moving south. But then we were introduced to Nate late last year. And as we spoke, I could hear the conviction and drive in his voice through his relaxed appearance. And while I was walking through the Nashville snow storm this past January updating Nate on new label partnerships, I floated the idea of a Los Angeles office.
And now, leading the LA office, Nate has become a key member of the Upstate team.
Building relationships with industry leaders and soon developing artists that will inspire the next generation. Welcome aboard N🎱
