Just to be clear, alignment is not a destination, it is a practice. It is not about being ‘perfect’ all the time, it is about increasing our ‘turn-around-time’ between feeling completely off track and back to our middle space. Being in alignment doesn’t mean everything is going to go right all the time, it means we have an increased capacity to be less affected by external situations and more able to choose the way we both perceive them and respond to them.

You won’t be 100% on either side of this table 100% of the time. We are fluctuating, ever-changing beings - which is what makes life interesting! Yet when can find that place to come back to, that feeling of alignment within, we truly activate what it means to be empowered.

Living in alignment is multifaceted, yet the 2 main aspects are 1. Foundational and 2. Responsive

1. Choose a range of tools and practices that work for you and commit to prioritising them. When we get into he habit of showing up for ourselves first, the way the day flows is completely different. Just as you would out your oxygen mask on first to help others, your daily practice is what allows you to be who you need to be in the world.

2. We cannot choose what goes on in the outside world, but with practice, we can learn to choose our response. This means cultivating awareness towards our triggers and the way we feel and learning to process these emotions in the body. With this awareness and increased capacity to feel (without reacting), we are able to respond more intentionally to any situation.

My 1:1 coaching program ‘Aligned’ shares with you the tools and practices that will facilitate huge changes in your life, as they have in the lives of the many women who have gone through this process with me. I am taking on new clients from April! Please DM me or visit the link in my bio for more info. I would love to connect :) by @oliviamoonwellness

Lumina Breathwork Facilitator Training | 12 – 19 November 2026*

*𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 – 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

What does it feel like to learn breathwork not only as a practice, but as something you can confidently guide others through?

Lumina’s 120-hour hybrid training with Olivia Moon combines online learning, self-study and a seven-day in-person immersion at Bodhi Khaya’s Wild Pod.

The training covers breath awareness, yogic pranayama, modern functional breathwork and Conscious Connected Breathing, alongside the practical skills needed to hold and guide a session.

At the in-person immersion, participants begin guiding sessions from day one — learning through practice, finding their own voice and becoming more comfortable in the role of facilitator.

Afterwards, the learning continues through case studies, a 21-day breath practice, written assignments and eight monthly group mentorship calls.

A training that brings together study, practice, community and time spent immersed at Bodhi Khaya.

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” — Mary Oliver

Sometimes the body knows something before we have found the words for it.

A change in energy. A feeling that it is time to rest. The instinct to move, to be still, or to turn inward. Yet in the noise and demands of everyday life, we can become very good at listening to everything except ourselves.

The cycles of the Moon offer another way of noticing these changes. The New Moon marks a point of darkness and stillness before the cycle begins again.

From 8–11 October 2026, Empowering the Feminine brings women together at Bodhi Khaya to explore these themes through astrology, feminine yoga, breathwork, sound, ritual and circle.

The retreat takes place beneath the energy of the New Moon, with time to practise, reflect and spend time in the forest.

Meet Olivia Moon🌿

For @oliviamoonwellness , the breath is more than something that keeps us alive. It is a bridge between the physical and the spiritual, and a way of returning to what is already within us.

Based in Cape Town, Olivia is a Conscious Breathwork Facilitator and Trainer, Holistic Coach and Yoga Teacher. Through retreats, workshops and one-on-one work, she helps people understand and work with their breath in a way that feels simple, grounded and accessible.

Her practice explores how conscious breathing can support the nervous system, shift the way we move through our emotions, and bring us into a deeper relationship with ourselves.

We look forward to breathing alongside her🤍 by @oliviamoonwellness
