Abdulbasit Abubakar Adamu

Let's do some introductions. 

My name is Abdulbasit Abubakar Adamu. I am a writer, poet, and performer living in Kano, Nigeria. I am the Creative Director for Train Ride with AB. 

Over the years, I have performed at major poetry events across cities in Nigeria. I use a special bilingual storytelling poetry process to tell stories for brands and put them out to the world, in Hausa and English languages, helping them in the public relations and marketing process of telling their stories to their established customers and prospective ones. I will love to work with your brand to tell your story with my excellent poetic prowess.

I am available to travel anywhere in the world to deliver poetic performances in English and Hausa to entertain,enlighten and communicate a wide variety of audiences. 

I run my podcast,Train Ride with AB where I talk about poetry and storytelling and run interviews for poets, art curators and storytellers across the African globe to create a great narrative of the evolving literary industry. The podcast is available on all major streaming platforms worldwide. 

I also give writing tips and specially poetry to young upcoming talents so they could see how much they can utilise their writing skills based on the over a decade of experience I have gathered in the literary scene. 

I provide writing, ghostwriting and proofreading for clients in the most excellent delivery quality and time. I do transcription for interviews, recordings, documentaries and translation services from English to Hausa and vice versa for individuals, corporations and researchers with utmost  output to give the best and nothing else. 

I am also an excellent bilingual voice over artist. Delivering great work in English and Hausa. I know that with work comes improvement and excellence.
