Last clip from “Desert Shelter.” Here we see dancer Jacob Regan ( @flyingfloorward ) creating a harrowing visual with sand. NobleMotion ( @noblemotiondance ) created such accurately biting depictions of what it means to cross the Sonoran Pass for hundreds of thousands of people. Fantastic work. Sublime playing and performance via the Ponce Project ( @ponceproject ).

Thanks to Performing Arts Houston ( @performingartshouston ) for centering these kinds of stories.
