Attention radio listeners! Today NPR is broadcasting a special 10-minute segment of Let the Kids Dance! all across the USA 🇺🇸

You’ll hear about the punk-rock riot that erupted when Seattle cops brandishing the Teen Dance Ordinance mercilessly shut down an all-ages Circle Jerks show in 1985. Plus the crusty old-media takedown that turned the entire city against youth culture AND the hilarious/vicious guerrilla-art clapback that incited a million-dollar lawsuit 🧨

Tune into All Things Considered today at 5:41 PM local time on your local NPR station 📻 Edison and I will be listening on 89.7 KLCC on the Oregon coast 🚐 🌊 ❤️
