Dr R. Clarke - The O(b)G(yn)

Last Friday on #internationaldayofthegirl, we welcomed our own little girl into our hearts.

She was born in the pool at home, surrounded by love and support from my husband and my amazing midwifery team who I am keeping forevermore.

Her brothers came down just in time to meet her, but decided that Mama was too noisy. They did come straight back in afterwards and her eldest brother proudly cut the cord. They have been so amazing with her.

My heart has never been so full, our family is complete and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. My body is recovering from yet another hyperemesis pregnancy, the anxiety of pregnancy after loss and of course...Birth!

Thank you to everyone who offered love and support this year. My social media activity has been limited whilst in survival mode but lots of people have had my back.
