(2/3) We’re absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity and support from everyone involved and who spent the afternoon with us on 7th September. You showed up for our community in a big way, and for that, we appreciate you more than words can say ❤️
🙌 Together we raised £14,000, which will be split 50-50 between the ESEACC Luncheon Club @eseacc_luncheon_club 💛 and Medical Aid for Palestinians @medicalaidpal 🍉
It truly takes a village, and this is *the village* by the numbers:
🧑🍳 23 incredible BBQ Chef Contributors
🥗 16 amazing Asian Salad Squad (A$$) Salad Slingers
🍰 6 wonderful Dessert Contributor Champions
🫶 Our Army of 25 Dedicated Volunteers
👭🏻 5 fabulous ESEA Community Centre Team Members
🎶 7 fantastic DJs and the star 🎷Saxophonist who kept the energy high
📷 2 talented Photographers who captured every moment
🌟 30+ generous Donors, donating incredible in-kind donations from raffle prizes, ingredients, products and more
🎟️ all 365 of our Ticketholders
Now for the serious bit: we’ve heard a lot of kind, generous, and encouraging words after the event, as well as constructive feedback about your experience on the day. A key issue raised was the long queue and wait times for food 🎯. Please rest assured that we are aware of these issues, and are continuing to receive feedback from our contributors. The organising team will be sitting down for a debrief soon, where all feedback received will be helpful in ensuring we alleviate these issues the next time we have this event 👀🤞
We will be sharing more photos of the event from our 2 brilliant photographers Nandal @nandal_seo and Darren @humothy in the coming days and weeks, so lookout for that!
