OH HI IT’S ME
I get to create art for a living — wild, right? What started with portraits, families, and learning how people move somehow grew into a full blown life of creation — brand, event, and real estate. Different worlds, same idea, to tell a story and connect with people.
(I will never stop doing lifestyle and weddings on the side)
A bit of background…
I was born in Iran and my parents immigrated to the states as refugees when I was 1. Growing up Iranian in America gifted me with the privilege of two cultures. However, growing up with two identities and crippling anxiety made life very unsure. I didn’t really know who I was, what choices to make, or what to think. Creation and beauty puts a pause to that. It doesn’t really matter what I SHOULD do. Whatever I make is mine and mine only, and it doesn’t matter who gets it or who doesn’t… I made it and it’s mine. Creation was the only thing that made sense whether it was photos, my outfit, a mural, or whatever it was at the time. That’s what I find most attractive about art. It can be beautiful, ugly, messy, loud and obnoxious, flowy and pretty, there are no limits or rules.
A letter to my support system The people I get to work with make everything possible. Every client, every referral, every tag, every word of encouragement, every “OMG IM DYING” — the tiny gestures and the huge ones — they lift me on the days when I’m doubting myself and remind me that this path is worth walking. You teach me, inspire me, and meet me in the magic.
This is my craft, my chaos, my favorite way to move through the world —
