European Masters Classic 2026 🇫🇮 | Oulu, Finland
What a week. What an experience.
It started off shakier than I’d have liked — my luggage was lost on the way out 😅. Thankfully I had my comp kit in my hand luggage, but it was stress I definitely didn’t need before stepping onto an international platform.
Squats:
210kg ⚪️
220kg ⚪️
225kg 🔥 (+5kg PB)
That third attempt was a battle. The bar folded me forward and threw me off balance, but I stayed with it, corrected the bar path, and fought it to the top. Not pretty — but it counted.
Bench:
150kg ⚪️
155kg 🥈 (Secured Silver)
157.5kg ❌ (Red lights — slight bum lift on the descent thanks to a slippery floor)
Still, 155kg was enough to bring home my first international medal — silver in the bench press. A massive moment for me.
Deadlift:
250kg ⚪️
270kg 🔥 (+5kg PB)
285kg ❌
Finally pulling 270kg on the platform meant a lot. That’s been coming for a while.
Took a YOLO shot at 285kg to try and jump into 4th overall — but it wasn’t there on the day. No regrets.
Total: 650kg
Overall Rank: 6th
Medal: 🥈 Bench Press Silver
Training totals had been building nicely, and to hit PBs on squat and deadlift at this level shows we’re moving in the right direction.
Huge thank you to:
