Welcome @janaeholster to Align Talent Collective 💚

Some artists separate life and art. Janae never learned how.
They’ll freestyle in a garden, frolic across Europe and call it research, post tight commercial choreography next to “to be cringe is to be free” and mean both. It’s all one practice to them, and it’s magnetic.

But don’t mistake the freedom for anything less than serious. Janae is a USC Kaufman graduate, magna cum laude, a soloist at home in both concert and commercial. Disney’s Descendants. Doechii’s “Anxiety.” A lead dancer and a freestyler the whole community calls undeniable. And they’re just getting going, already further along than their years would suggest.

But a resume can’t show you what makes Janae, Janae.
In their own words, they lead with a loving heart, and you feel it in everything they do. They dance for the pure joy of it, and that freedom is exactly what people come back for. They give the people around them room to be free too, and treat each day as a place to create and grow. Choreographers run out of ways to describe them, so we’ll land on “one of a kind.” What they have can’t be taught and can’t be faked. It’s just who they are.

We don’t sign résumés. We sign humans. And Janae is the one whose whole life is the art, and the joy is the point.

Welcome home, Janae. 💚
