Column 3 of Poetic Renditions, curated by Amama Bashir, features Jaun Elia's poem ہمیشہ قتل ہو جاتا ہوں میں 'Hamesha Qatal Hojata Huun Mein', translated by Javeria Hasnain (@peelijay), Shandana Minhas (@shandanistan), Yusra Amjad (@yusraamjadwrites), and Ayesha Manazir Siddiqi (ayeshainstas). Each translator also shares her particular experience working with the poem, and Amama Bashir writes about encountering meaning in the lines of this work.
