Meet Jo, founder of @deliveringbetter ⤴️

Just a few years ago, she was a mum who had been through a terrible birthing experience - but since then she has built a national campaign and pushed maternity care up the political agenda.

And Breakthrough helped her get there, with our year-long campaign Accelerator.

We provided Jo with advice on how to navigate the complex world of Westminster, as well as ongoing personal support to make sure, as a lived experience campaigner, she was working sustainably.

Today, Delivering Better have built a movement of 8,000 mothers, been invited to give evidence to the Government’s investigation into maternity care and have recently launched a podcast sharing meaningful experiences and insights within the world of maternity rights and care. 👏
