i’ve been sitting with this thought since i burned my hand for the first time while visiting Oregon last year (while trying to flip something in the oven).

after the initial shock / pain, i couldn’t stop staring at my hands because i was struck by how they looked so familiar.

then i shared that thought with one of my besties and they said “god i hate artists” LOLLL
