And that’s a wrap on my 2nd National Show!! NPC North American Championships in Pittsburgh was an incredible experience💫

I placed 8th out of a very competitive lineup of 22 amazing women. Not the outcome we were shooting for, but I’m walking away from this weekend feeling so proud of myself.

This entire prep and competition experience was a complete 180 from my last season. I felt calm backstage, confident when I walked out, and was able to actually be present and enjoy being on stage rather than be consumed by the outcome.

I know without a doubt we made significant improvements from last year, but also know that there is still so much room to grow. That’s the best thing about this sport. Being proud of what you’ve built, but always hungry for more.

@rafyturo Rafa — I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for you. When I look back on my physique and how much it’s changed in 3 years, it’s actually kinda insane. Thank you for everything you put into your craft and for being in my corner every step of the way. I know it’s not a matter of if but when for us!!

@mrcshadows Christian — thank you for completely transforming my posing and the way I carry myself on stage. Having you backstage with me was such a blessing and you made me feel so prepared and ready. So so grateful.

@rocha_sportpsych Gabe — working with you this year changed the way I approach all of this. So much of my ability to stay calm, let go of what I can’t control, and actually enjoy the experience came from all the work we’ve done together.

@chickentuna Samia — to my best friend who literally flew across the country and took time away from her family and life just to be there for me. I’m so grateful for our bond and sharing this bodybuilding journey with you has been THE BEST.

@spencer_schutt MY HUSBAND — my rock. Nobody sees me like you do or knows what goes into this more than you. I’m the luckiest girl to have you as my partner. You show up for me every day and I never take that for granted.

And to my sister @_alicat_ , my mom, and family who live streamed the whole show — your support and encouragement in everything I do means the world. 💕
