I was holding my 11-month-old watching “Regis and Kelly” as the 911 attacks were happening. It was the strangest feeling that I had never felt before and have not felt since. For Barbie Convention 2025 I created this photograph at a fire station in Seattle for the “Iconic” theme as firemen (and women) are heros. I based it on this photograph by @nigelparryphoto that was included in the book “Iconic America” by Tommy Hilfiger. Steve at @firedogphotos was so generous to walk me and my sister around the station and turn on the truck lights for me. He suggested this vantage point for this photo. Smoke added using photoshop.
