Paint Outdoors Buffalo

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Yesterday was such a special day for Buffalo Plein Air, and we are so grateful to every single person who helped make our first Plein Air Competition what it was.

Thank you to all of the incredible artists who came out to paint, took a chance on this event, shared your work, and supported one another throughout the day. Seeing artists spread throughout Hamburg creating together and then bringing all of those completely different perspectives into one show at the end of the day was something we won’t forget.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the show, stopped to watch artists paint, supported their work, cheered us on, and helped make the day feel so special. And of course, thank you to our sponsors: @paigescreationsandlivepainting, @thegoodscompany716, @sandbaggersgolfbar, and @villageofhamburg, judges: @openartsbuf, @jpsinkart and Juliet, volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes who believed in what we were trying to create.

When we started Buffalo Plein Air, we wanted to create a welcoming community where artists could get outside, make art, meet other creatives, learn from each other, and feel supported. Yesterday felt like such a beautiful example of that.

We want to continue creating opportunities for artists, bringing people together through art, and building a community where everyone feels encouraged to create, no matter their experience level.

Thank you for believing in Buffalo Plein Air and growing this community with us. We’re just getting started. ❤️
