We’re rolling over to Sanborn Lake tonight. Mostly pavement all the way there, followed by some sweet singletrack around the lake. This will be a good one, bring the good vibes and charge those lights!

The UAE has secured the top spot globally, with a mobility score of 182 destinations accessible without obtaining a traditional visa in advance. Singapore and Malaysia share second place with scores of 175, while Spain ranks next with 174 destinations.

European countries dominate the rest of the top rankings, with Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Denmark, Germany and Sweden each scoring 173. The index uses shared rankings for countries with identical mobility scores, which is why the top 10 positions include more than 10 countries.

India ranks 72nd, with a mobility score of 70 destinations. The rankings highlight differences in global travel access and passport mobility. These figures are from Arton Capital’s Passport Index, which uses a different methodology from the Henley Passport Index and may therefore produce different rankings.

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has moved to recover KSh 623.39 million in alleged outstanding tax arrears from former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko through First Community Bank. In a notice dated October 12, 2026, KRA appointed the bank as its agent, directing it to remit any funds held on Sonko’s behalf, or any money owed to him, towards settling the claimed tax liability.

The amount comprises KSh 308.92 million in principal tax, KSh 15.76 million in penalties and KSh 298.72 million in interest, relating to the period between January 2015 and December 2019. KRA invoked Section 42 of the Tax Procedures Act, 2015, which allows it to appoint third parties to help recover unpaid taxes. The authority warned that the bank could become personally liable for the specified amount if it fails to comply with the notice without reasonable cause.
