Absolutely agree. As a parent coach, I have come to realise every family, every child, and every situation is different. And one solution definitely cannot fit all! And what I teach my kid, mistakes is what makes us human. We only grow when we learn from them :)

Ok so the nuance here: I’m specifically referring to people who are not professionals who are offering guides, courses and promises that you can “cure” a chronic illness if you buy what they are offering. I’m not referring to qualified people who work with you to figure out what works for you. Chronic illnesses are notoriously individualistic. Even people with the exact same illnesses as me will find something works for them but doesn’t work for me - which is why a one size fit all is utter crap. I’m also not referring to other creators with chronic illness who may partner with brands who create products that can genuinely help people navigate their illness better and offer their audience discount codes. They need to earn money too and they’re genuinely trying to offer support. But ever since talking about my illness online I have been bombarded with unqualified people claiming they cured their illnesses and if I hand over £100 or £200 they’ll tell me exactly how I can do it. If you really have the cure, you’d be giving that away for free. Please don’t fall for this! Some accounts I love following who genuinely help: @dra_says @drzacspiritos @doctorerinnance @drnighatarif @how2talktoyourdoctor @herdiscussionspod @doctoramirkhan @drcutchins ^ to name a few, if you know more please tag them so people know who to get their information from. #chronicillness #MCAS #pots #ME #hEDS
I think some of the most meaningful friendships grow quietly over time. There’s no big moment when you suddenly decide someone will be important to you. It happens through ordinary conversations, shared experiences, and all the little ways you show up for each other. You start remembering what matters to them.
