It’s rare that I will inspire my photography in a drawing, but this photo was inspired by @sergei_sakharoff drawing from a few years ago 🥹
I’ve been testing the new Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM since July, and now it’s with me here in South Georgia.
Spoiler: I love it. 🖤
Here’s why 👇
✨ Constant F4.5: zoom from 100 to 400 without losing light.
✨ Internal zoom: the lens doesn’t extend and stays balanced.
✨ Super fast autofocus, ideal for wildlife.
✨ Detail wide open: look at every single feather in this portrait.
Really, really in love.

That black-and-white portrait of the penguin chick is pure art. The dense gray down and the upward-tilted beak against the blown-out white, such a striking minimalist frame. Stunning work from South Georgia. 🖤❄️
